Disney/ABC Television Group Captures 13 Emmy Awards
After receiving previous nominations for their characters, Michael Emerson and Kristin Chenoweth became Emmy Award winners at the 61st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards presented Sunday night.

After receiving previous nominations for their characters, Michael Emerson and Kristin Chenoweth became Emmy Award winners at the 61st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards presented Sunday night. Combined with last night's wins and categories announced at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards on September 12, ABC Network won a total of 11 Primetime Emmy Awards.

Previously nominated in the first season, Kristin Chenoweth captured the first award of the evening, Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, for "Pushing Daisies." Michael Emerson's portrayal of the evil Benjamin Linus in "Lost," for which he has received three nominations, resulted in a Supporting Actor in a Drama Series win. He also has an Emmy Award for a guest starring role on "The Practice."

Disney Channel's hit series "Wizards of Waverly Place" won its first Emmy Award for Outstanding Children's Series at the Creative Arts Emmys on September 12.

Additional winners at the Creative ceremony include ABC Entertainment's "Lost's"/The Dharma Initiative website, DharmaWantsYou.com, for Creative Achievement in Interactive Media, and a first-time win for ABC Studios' syndicated series "Legend of the Seeker" for Music Composition for a Series.

Including Kristin Chenoweth's win, "Pushing Daisies" won a total of four awards - for Costumes, Makeup for a Single-Camera Series (non-prosthetic) and Art Direction. "The 81st Annual Academy Awards" captured three awards -- Choreography, Short Form Picture Editing and Sound Mixing. The "Stand Up to Cancer" special broadcast on ABC, CBS and NBC also won for Short Form Picture Editing.
