G4 COUNTS DOWN THE SEXIEST INTERNET HOTTIES IN NEW TV SPECIAL "WOMEN OF THE WEB" PREMIERING THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 17 AT 8PM ET/PT
LOS ANGELES, September 14, 2009 G4 presents the web's hottest women in a new half-hour special hosted by "Attack of the Show's" Kevin Pereira. "Women of the Web" reveals today's biggest "Weblebrities," counting down the top 10 sexiest Internet vixens, with special details about their backgrounds, how they climbed the ranks of the web and what makes them so popular. Joining Kevin is his reliable, web-obsessed "Legion of Dudes" who debate and discuss everything from the women's online footprint to aspects of their physical appearance. "Women of the Web" premieres September 17, 2009 at 8PM ET/PT, only on G4.
Women of the Web began as a popular count-down segment on "Attack of the Show" with Kevin Pereira delivering the sexiest women of the Internet to G4's young male audience as part of the nightly show. With the growing popularity of the segment, Kevin and his hand-picked team of web experts have now expanded the segment into this new half-hour special going even deeper into the digital trenches to uncover the best of the best ladies on the web.
With so many tastes to cater to, G4 assembled a bro-panel or "the Legion of Dudes" to deliberate and select the top 10 all-around hotties. Everything about their online imprint is taken into account, from their physical appearances to Facebook friend counts. The roundtable features writer/comedian Howard Kremer ("Comedy Central Presents," "The Goode Family"), producer/comedian Jonah Ray ("The Sarah Silverman Program," Comedy Central's "Live at Gotham") and musician/comedian Kel Mitchell (Nickelodeon's "All That") who debate each and every aspect of the ladies. The special also features revealing interviews from some of the web hotties themselves.
"In the realm of the web, YouTube subscribers and fan interactions are just as important as the size of your Tweets. The bro-panel left no digital-stone unturned, looking at Google rankings, blog postings and countless web galleries to make sure the most connected, most well-rounded women secured a spot in our top ten," said host Kevin Pereira.
Who will take the top slot and be named the sexiest woman on the web? Tune in to G4's new special "Women of the Web" debuting Thursday, September 17 at 8 pm ET/PT as Kevin Pereira and his "Legion of Dudes" scour cyberspace to reveal the top 10 ultimate hotties.
Kevin Pereira and Paul Bonanno are Executive Producers for "Women of the Web."
