Science Channel Announces New Monday and Thursday Night Line-Ups
Science Channel announces changes to the network's Monday night and Thursday night lineups beginning on Thursday, June 11, 2009. *All times are ET/PT.
Science Channel's newest series SCIENCE OF THE MOVIES moves from Tuesday nights at 9 PM to Thursday nights at 10 PM starting June 11, when host Nar Williams explores the science behind horror movies. In the first Thursday night premiere, Williams finds out how Showtime's �Dexter� creates crime scene blood splatter; meets the leading digital plastic surgeon in Hollywood; and gets a lesson in DIY effects from Indy Mogul's Erik Beck.
HOW DO THEY DO IT will now air Thursdays at 9 and 9:30 PM with all new premieres beginning on Thursday, July 16.
BRINK, the next-generation source of interactive science information on television and on the web, moves from Friday nights at 10 PM to Mondays at 10:30 PM beginning Monday, June 15. In its first airing on Monday nights, host Josh Zepps interviews an scientist Kristi Anseth who is working to design polymers that imitate living tissues. And correspondent and author Joshua Davis makes a trip to the Pain Lab for an uncomfortable lesson in the science of pain.
