CBS CONSUMER PRODUCTS INTRODUCES FIERCE NEW MERCHANDISE FROM AMERICAS NEXT TOP MODEL

New 'Top Model' Books and Board Game Headed for Retail

NEW YORK, June 1, 2009 -- CBS Consumer Products, a unit of CBS Entertainment, is expanding its America's Next Top Model (ANTM) merchandising program with new products that help extend the property's reach into all-new product categories. New agreements with Modern Publishing, Rizzoli, Scholastic Books, Penguin and Gamaka Games will bring fans a great selection of books for all ages and the first America's Next Top Model board game ever created.

"America's Next Top Model books allow young women everywhere to experience fashion and style in personal and inspiring ways," said Liz Kalodner, Executive Vice President and General Manager of CBS Consumer Products. "The show's message of pursuing one's dreams is a natural fit for publishing and gaming categories."

Modern Publishing's 'tween-targeted activity books entitled America's Next Top Model : Are You In the Running sells for $4.99, and the America's Next Top Model Deluxe Handbook called Make Me a Supermodel is priced at $12.99. They are available at mass retailers, drug stores, book sellers, supermarkets, school book clubs and more. The books offer real life advice, including beauty tips, make-your-own fashions and runway pointers while offering up fun activities for young girls including press-out models, stickers and a fold-out runway.

Rizzoli is bringing the ultimate guide to fashion and beauty to book retailers worldwide with this month's release of America's Next Top Model Fierce Guide To Life. The book allows fans to "unleash their inner diva" with advice for readers on how to use their natural assets, focus their energy, develop their style, and look their best. The Fierce Guide To Life is now available for $24.95.

Additional books rolling out this year include a series of young adult fiction novels from Scholastic Books, following a group of teen girls at a modeling school scheduled for a fall release, and Penguin Young Readers Group's introduction of America's Next Top Model themed MadLibs slated for a winter release.

November also brings the debut of the ANTM board game from Gamaka Games where players vie to get runway ready in a game that combines fierce challenges with trivia questions about the past Top Model seasons, as well as the modeling and fashion worlds.

The hit reality series America's Next Top Model, now in its 12th cycle airing Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on The CW, features Tyra Banks and gives real people an opportunity to prove that they can make it in the high-stress, high-stakes world of supermodeling. The series follows a group of young women of various backgrounds, shapes and sizes, who live together and vie for a modeling contract. The executive producers are Ken Mok ("Making the Band"), Tyra Banks and Daniel Soiseth ("Hell's Kitchen"). The dramality series was created by Tyra Banks and developed by Ken Mok and Kenya Barris. America's Next Top Model is produced by 10 by 10 Entertainment in association with Bankable Productions.
