MTV Books Summer Trio

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- MTV has set its first wave of summer originals, which include new seasons of "Paris Hilton's My New BFF," "America's Best Dance Crew" and "The Real World."
"BFF" returns for its second season on Tuesday, June 2 at 10:00/9:00c while "The Real World" kicks off its 22nd edition in Cancun on Wednesday, June 24 at 10:00/9:00c.
Meanwhile, the Randy Jackson-produced "ABDC" returns for its fourth go around on Thursday, August 6 at 10:00/9:00c.
The trio join the previously announced "16 & Pregnant" (Thursdays at 10:00/9:00c starting June 11).
In other news at the network, the Justin Timberlake-produced "The Phone" has quietly been banished to Fridays at 10:00/9:00c after four weeks on Tuesday nights.
And finally, the cable channel will offer up a sneak preview its upcoming animated series "DJ + The Fro" on Sunday, May 31 following the "MTV Movie Awards."
