LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The latest development news, culled from recent wire reports:

GLEE (FOX) - Jane Lynch has been upped to a series regular on the upcoming drama, which previews Tuesday, May 19 at 9:00/8:00c. She'll continue on as Sue Sylvester, the school's cheerleader coach, when the series resumes its run next season.
HUNG (HBO) - Eddie Jemison has likewise been upped to series regular while Alanna Ubach has booked a recurring role on the newcomer, about Ray Drecker (Thomas Jane), an underpaid, uninsured, and embittered high-school teacher/basketball coach who finds a way to use his "greatest asset." Jemison will play the new husband of Ray's ex-wife (Anne Heche), a nerd-turned-successful dermatologist. Ubach then will play an Israeli-American neighbor of Ray's in five episodes.
ONE TREE HILL (The CW) - Austin Nichols has been upped to series regular for the show's seventh season. He currently recurs as Julian Baker, a hotshot movie producer on the series.
UNTITLED JUSTIN ADLER PROJECT (NBC) - Moses Port and David Guarascio have been tapped to take over the comedy pilot, about adult siblings and their controlling mother. Creator Justin Adler departed the project earlier this week, citing creative differences after its run-through. Adler's departure isn't expected to delay next week's shoot. Anthony and Joe Russo are helming the Sony Pictures Television-based half-hour, which stars Allison Munn, Henry Winkler, Jill Clayburgh, Joanna Garcia, John Michael Higgins, Leslie Bibb, Michael Rosenbaum and Nick D'Agosto.
