New York � April 6, 2009 - Sundance Channel announced some of the highlights of its programming slate for the rest of 2009 featuring a second season of the highly successful "Spectacle: Elvis Costello with...", a third season of "Live From Abbey Road", a major new docu-series about Newark "Brick City", and "Man Shops Globe", which follows a buyer for Anthropologie as he travels the world looking for beautiful and unique items for the store. Presented by Robert Redford, THE GREEN is Sundance Channel's third season offering entertaining sources of information and inspiration about the planet we call home. Launching in April with "Eco Trip: The Real Cost of Living" there will be THE GREEN programming every week in 2009.
APRIL
ECO TRIP: THE REAL COST OF LIVING (8x30)
Hosted by environmentalist and founder of Adventure Ecology, David de Rothschild, "Eco Trip: The Real Cost of Living" traces the eco-life of an everyday item from production to disposal, revealing the environmental, social and health effects along the way. Episodes are: Chocolate, Cotton T-shirt, Gold Ring, Paper Napkin, Light Bulb, Bottled Water, Cell Phone and Salmon. Produced by NBC's Peacock Productions.
CARBON COPS (6x30)

The series covers the global fashion calendar - from Sonia Rykiel celebrating her 40th Anniversary in Paris in October to Proenza Schouler's show in New York in February, Fendi by Karl Lagerfeld in Milan in March, and a surprise designer at the Haute Couture shows in Paris in July � following each designer at this key moment when creativity and business come together. LIVE FROM ABBEY ROAD (12x60)
In 2009 Sundance Channel will premiere the third season of the original music series "Live From Abbey Road". Filmed at London's legendary Abbey Road Studios, the critically acclaimed series features performances and interviews with an eclectic variety of new and established A-list musicians. Each one-hour episode offers three acts and a unique insight into the process of making music as the artists rehearse, discuss their work and build toward the final exclusive performance. Confirmed artists for the show's third series include Lyle Lovett, Seal, Fleet Foxes, Keane, The Killers and The Fray. The launch of season three coincides with the 40th anniversary of The Beatles' famous album, Abbey Road.
