DOLLHOUSE (FOX) - TVShowsonDVD.com reports 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment will release a DVD of show's first season on July 28. It's understood the set will include a slew of bonus features, including the original scrapped pilot as well as the yet-to-be-scheduled 13th installment, "Epitaph One."
DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME (A.K.A. UNTITLED JEFF STRAUSS PROJECT) (ABC) - Former "The King of Queens" star Leah Remini has joined the cast of the comedy pilot, which examines marriage and parenthood through the eyes of three couples. She'll play Jessica, a newspaper editor who, along with her husband (Matthew Lillard), is raising their three kids. Jeff Strauss is behind the ABC Studios-based project, which is also executive produced by Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis.
THE FUGITIVE CHRONICLES (A&E, New!) - RDF USA and Raw Productions have received a nine-episode order from the cable channel for a new reality series which will "detail some of the most compelling fugitive captures in the past 20 years." The project will use everything from re-enactments to interviews to tell said stories "from the perspective of the hunter and the hunted." Raw's Dimitri Doganis and Bart Layton and RDF's Charles Tremayne and Chris Coelen are the executive producers for their respective companies with Rob Sharenow, Scott Lonker and Jordana Hochman serving as the same on the network side. Mary Jane Mitchell will serve as a producer.
MELROSE PLACE (The CW) - Thomas Calabro is set to reprise his role of Dr. Michael Mancini on the netlet's revival of the 1990s soap. He'll join fellow alum Laura Leighton, who closed her deal earlier this week, as a recurring.
SOMEONE'S GOTTA GO (FOX, New!) - Production is underway on a new economy-themed reality series at the network in which struggling small businesses give employees the power to decide which one of them will be terminated. The hourlong project, from Endemol USA, will be hosted by a yet-to-be-revealed business expert who also serves as a consultant to the companies featured on the show. Each week a different company will open up their internal information - everything from budgets to salaries to human resources files - and the employees themselves will ultimately be given the choice on who to let go. It's understood the exiled employee may receive a small severance however exact details are still unknown. No air date has been set for the series, however it could be ready in time for a late summer or early fall debut. Endemol's David Goldberg is among the executive producers.
THIS LITTLE PIGGY (ABC) - Rebecca Creskoff ("Quintuplets") has joined the cast of the comedy pilot, about two adult siblings (Jeff Davis, Creskoff) who move in with their eldest brother (Kevin Rahm). She'll play Janet in the half-hour, who's detailed as follows: "After trying pottery, archery and being a Muslim, Janet recently announced to their young children that she's decided to try being a lesbian." Brian Bradley and Steven Cragg are behind the project, which is based at ABC Studios.
UNTITLED ANITA RENFROE PROJECT (ABC) - Spencer Breslin ("Center of the Universe") has joined the cast of the pilot, a parenting show about a couple (Renfroe, Ryan Stiles) raising their kids. He'll play Doug, the oldest son, who works at Krispy Kreme. Sony Pictures Television-based Tantamount is behind the half-hour, which was co-created by Amy Welsh, Rob Hanning and Anita Renfroe.
