APPRENTICE UK
The infamous words "You're Fired!" will now be heard on BBC AMERICA with the premiere of Apprentice UK. English entrepreneur and businessman Sir Alan Sugar takes on fourteen ambitious and eager young candidates through a series of weekly challenges. The candidates are divided into two groups hoping to outsmart the other team through demanding and fierce tasks before facing the boardroom showdown. Ultimately, one of these lucky contestants will have the opportunity to earn a high-paying job in Sir Alan's billion dollar global empire.
Each week the teams face off with challenges that include creating an ad campaign to sell Sir Alan's private jets, designing a kid's toy and even presenting a "live" television show selling real products on air. After each challenge is complete, the losing team has to make the unfortunate choice of picking out the weakest candidates while Sir Alan and the board has the difficult task of "firing" a player. Each week dreams are shattered while one person is getting closer to their dream job.

Narrated by Ruth Jones (Nessa, Gavin & Stacey), each episode follows one couple on their journey as the groom is given $20,000 and sole responsibility for all decisions - towards their big day. But that means he's got to plan every aspect of the wedding including picking out the bride's gown. His wife-to-be remains in the dark during the entire process and their relationship is pushed to the limit as the groom has to deal with demanding bridesmaids, difficult mother-in-law's, expensive flowers and even surviving his own bachelor party. These grooms will only have one chance to give their bride the wedding of a lifetime.
