To many people, going to work every day is no laughing matter. But according to some of the best television commercials, the office can be a breeding ground for comedy. TBS captures the very best workplace ads in its new special WORLD'S FUNNIEST OFFICE COMMERCIALS, hosted by actor Mike O'Malley (Yes, Dear). The one-hour special premieres Sunday, April 12, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT), coinciding with a redesign of TBS's popular VeryFunnyAds.com online destination.

Among the workplace mayhem featured in WORLD'S FUNNIEST OFFICE COMMERCIALS will be Bud Light's �Swear Jar� (United States), Cadbury's �Reply All� (Canada), Mikado's �Copier� (France), Rolling Rock's �Man Thong� (United States) and the Hearing Foundation of Canada's �Loud Office� (Canada), to name a few.

The premiere of WORLD'S FUNNIEST OFFICE COMMERCIALS coincides with a redesign of TBS's popular VeryFunnyAds.com, which launched in August 2006 and serves as an online clearing house for the very best funny commercials from around the globe. Among the broadband destination's new features will be a blog section featuring comments on the ads and discussions about humorous advertising.

O'Malley is best known to television viewers for his role as Jimmy Hughes on the popular sitcom Yes,Dear and as a sinister spy on My Own Worst Enemy More recently, he landed a recurring role on My Name is Earl. His other television credits include Baby Blues and Life with Roger, as well as hosting Get the Picture. On the big screen, he has co-starred in such films as Deep Impact, Pushing Tin, 28 Days, Leatherheads, Meet Dave and the upcoming The Informant. O'Malley is also a successful playwright, with two of his plays produced in New York and a third in Los Angeles.

WORLD'S FUNNIEST OFFICE COMMERCIALS marks TBS's latest venture in the world of comedic advertising. For the past five years, the network has presented the highly rated Funniest Commercials of the Year specials each December. In addition, TBS presents various World's Funniest Commercials specials during the year.

Robert Dalrymple is a Peabody and Emmy�-winning television producer whose most recent productions include Super Bowl's Greatest Commercials, for CBS in conjunction with IMG Media; the American Cinematheque Specials, for TNT and AMC; and Showtime's adaptation of Sam Sheppard's True West. He also co-founded and executive-produced the Screen Actors Guild Awards for NBC and TNT.

Dalrymple is perhaps best known for Billy Joel's tour in Russia, Billy Crystal's first comedy special from Russia and the CBS production of pianist Vladimir Horowitz's return to Moscow after 62 years. He won Emmys for Free to Be a Family and a documentary on Itzhak Perlman's tour of Russia, and was nominated for The King & I � Recording a Hollywood Dream. His television movies include Howard Hughes � His Woman and His Movies, Shame, Baby Brokers and A Christmas Romance.
