THE BEAUTIFUL LIFE (The CW) - Sara Paxton, Ben Hollingsworth, Ashley Madekwe and Nico Tortorella are the latest additions to the drama pilot, about a group of models living together in a co-ed residence in New York. Hollingsworth will play "a wholesome model who bonds with a sweet Midwestern girl (Paxton) making a splash as New Yorks freshest face." Madekwe and Tortorella then will play unspecified models. Christian Duguay is helming the CBS Paramount Network Television-based hour from a script by Adam Giaudrone.

THE BRIDGET SHOW (ABC) - Holly Robinson Peete and Josh Braaten have joined the cast of the Lauren Graham-led comedy pilot, about a self-help guru who teaches women how to live a stress-free life - but struggles to follow her own advice when her boyfriend dumps her. Peete will play a guest therapist on Bridget's talk show who took over when Bridget walked away five years ago to be with her then boyfriend. Braaten then is set as Chris Hopper, the stoner cousin of Graham's ex. Alex Herschlag is behind the half-hour, which is set up at the Sony Pictures Television-based Tantamount.

THE NEW TWENTY (ABC) - Eric McCormack, Reno Wilson, Jolie Jenkins and Constance Zimmer have all joined the cast of the comedy pilot, about two friends who embark on very different lives: Dean (McCormack), a heart surgeon with a new baby, and Seth (Wilson), a contractor with a new empty nest. Jenkins and Zimmer then will play their respective wives. McCormack's casting is in second position to his TNT series "Trust Me." Marc Buckland is helming the ABC Studios-based half-hour from a script by Tad Quill.

PULLING (ABC) - Lindsay Sloane, Mary Elizabeth Ellis and Charlie Finn are the first to be cast in the comedy pilot, about three single thirtysomething women who live together after one (Sloane) breaks off her engagement the day before her wedding. Sloane and Ellis will play two of the trio with Finn as the jilted fiance. Elliot Hegarty is directing the project from a script by Rob Hanning. ABC Studios is the studio attached.

SPARTACUS (Starz) - The pay channel has confirmed the series, which starts filming this month in New Zealand, has been pushed to a fourth quarter premiere at the earliest. Industry insiders however suggest the show will likely roll out in the first quarter of 2010 once the second season of "Crash" concludes.
