Current GRAMMY� Award nominees Jennifer Hudson and Carrie Underwood are the latest performers announced for THE 51st ANNUAL GRAMMY� AWARDS telecast. They join previously announced performers and nominees Kenny Chesney, Coldplay, Jonas Brothers, Lil Wayne and Katy Perry at THE 51st ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS, to be broadcast live from The Staples Center in Los Angeles, Sunday, Feb. 8 (8:00-11:30 PM ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Jennifer Hudson has three nominations: Best Female R&B Vocal Performance ("Spotlight"), Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals ("I'm His Only Woman") and Best R&B Album (Jennifer Hudson).
Three time GRAMMY winner Carrie Underwood is up for Best Female Country Vocal Performance ("Last Name").
As previously announced, Katy Perry will perform as part of the "MY GRAMMY MOMENT" segment on the telecast. This year, music fans can upload a 30- to 60-second video of themselves singing along to a portion of Perry's current GRAMMY-nominated song, "I Kissed A Girl," at www.CBS.com/grammys through Friday, Feb. 6. Submitted videos will be voted on by CBS.com users, and the most popular videos will be shown as part of Perry's 51st ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS performance on Music's Biggest Night�.
The music industry's premiere event will be broadcast in HDTV and 5.1 Surround Sound.
