HALLMARK CHANNEL MAKES ITSELF "HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS" AT RADIO CITY WITH THREE-YEAR SPONSORSHIP OF RADIO CITY CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR IN NYC

Hallmark Channel, the number one destination for family-friendly programming and this season's leader in original holiday movies, is making itself "Home for the Holidays" at Radio City in New York City by signing on to be a participating sponsor of the annual Radio City Christmas Spectacular for an additional three years. This year marks the eighth year that the network has sponsored the show.

As part of the network's sponsorship, it will host a private VIP reception for key advertising clients and their families in the Grand Lounge of Radio City Music Hall on Thursday, December 11. Clients will also have the opportunity to see the evening's live performance a special holiday treat during these uncertain economic times. Hallmark Channel's Ad Sales chief Bill Abbott will host the evening.

"Hallmark and Radio City are iconic brands that represent family and celebrations and it's our great pleasure to be the exclusive cable entertainment partner of the Christmas Spectacular," said Abbott. "The current state of the economy is causing families to stay close to home and hearth and this sponsorship allows us to treat our clients and their families to a night out when they otherwise may not have one."

Further stated Michael Guth, executive vice president, sales and marketing for Madison Square Garden: "We are excited to have Hallmark Channel return as a sponsor of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. As with all of our partners, Hallmark Channel will be able to showcase their brand on a variety of platforms, truly maximizing their exposure, while also aligning themselves with the iconic and influential brand of Radio City Music Hall."

Through this sponsorship, Hallmark Channel's "Home for the Holidays" programming message a holiday movie every night at 9 p.m. in December will be featured on the 7th Avenue marquee outside Madison Square Garden. The network will also be included in a full-page ad in the program book distributed at the show, point-of-sale banners inside Radio City, co-branded mailings and tune-in spots for the channel's original holiday movies on plasma screens throughout the music hall.

Hallmark Channel, owned and operated by Crown Media Holdings, Inc., is a 24-hour basic cable network that provides a diverse slate of high-quality entertainment programming to a national audience of 86 million subscribers. The top tier program service is distributed through more than 5,450 cable systems and communities as well as direct-to-home satellite services across the country. Hallmark Channel consistently ranks among the top 10 ad-supported cable networks in Prime Time and Total Day household ratings and is the nation's leading network in providing quality family programming.
