"BUSTED: Countdown To LockDown" To Air 20 New "BUSTED" Infractions In Between In-Studio Appearances By Fan Favorite Season One Offenders And Law Enforcers

------

NEW YORK, October 23, 2008 "BUSTED" series fans can rejoice! MTV will offer the next evolution in Cell Block Saturday on October 25 from 2pm-7pm ET/PT, as "BUSTED Live: Countdown To Lockdown" heads into the MTV studios to countdown 20 brand new infractions, so crazy even the cops involved couldn't believe their eyes! Running the spectrum of outrageous crimes from a squeegee fight at a car wash to setting a car on fire, MTV will countdown to the single-most shocking and never before seen offense. In front of a live in-studio audience and hosted by Damien Fahey (MTV's "TRL") and comedian/actor Skyler Stone (Comedy Central's "Con," "For Your Consideration," "Accepted"), the countdown will air the never before seen stories interspersed with live stunts, surprise drop-ins and guest appearances by fan favorite and brand-new offenders and the law enforcers who caught them.

Building on the spontaneity and unpredictability "BUSTED" misdemeanors are known and loved for, the real-time event will take "BUSTED" to the next level with an array of action-packed live stunts carried out by the studio audience and our visiting perps. From breathalyzers to interrogations to an in-house police sketch artist, tests on police precinct procedure and learning about the wackiest laws nationwide, MTV will lock down the studio and lay down the law for the best "BUSTED" live event-to-date.

The fun will be both on-air and online as MTV.com will ratchet up the excitement. Beginning Wednesday October 22, fans can log onto Busted.MTV.com to take show and crime-related polls the results of which will be revealed during the live event and during the live show they will be treated to real-time, behind-the-scenes posts from the site's very own "BUSTED" blogger. Viewers can also log-on before Saturday to watch full "BUSTED" episodes and the exclusive online shows "BUSTED Moments" and "Behind the Badge."

"BUSTED" offers viewers an action-packed and high stakes look at crazy misdemeanors and illegal transgressions through real police footage and not only the perspective of the law enforcers involved in the busts but also that of the young people featured themselves. Season One of "BUSTED" ranges the spectrum of knuckleheaded misconduct from skinny-dipping to underage drinking and backyard wrestling to marijuana possession. No matter what the infraction, one thing is for certain: you can run and you can hide but when the police catch up with you, you'd better have your story straight.

Skyler Stone is an actor/writer/producer who first garnered attention with the cult Comedy Central series "CON," for which he served as the creator, executive producer and star. The concept of the show was Stone taking viewers on a ride into his daily life where he conned anyone and everyone he met. Stone has also had supporting roles in films that include "Waiting," "Accepted," "For Your Consideration," "Stuck On You" and "The Island." A successful stand-up comedian, Stone has headlined over 40 cities and has appeared at Comics Unleashed, Premium Blend and "The Late, Late Show With Craig Ferguson." Stone was also host of "College Night" at The Laugh Factory for over a year and hosted MTV's 25th Anniversary party. For more information on Skler Stone, go to www.sklyerstone.com.

"BUSTED Live: Countdown To Lockdown" is executive produced John Stevens and Barry Poznick of Zoo Productions. Mitch Goldstein of Zachary/Blair Productions also executive produces the series and Bobby Maurer serves as Coordinating Producer.
