"ACCESS HOLLYWOOD" TURNS TEENAGER WITH LAUNCH OF SEASON 13

Entertainment Newsmagazine Kicks Off New Season With New Segments & Attitude

AccessHollywood.com Starting Season With New Look & New Features As Well

BURBANK, Calif. - September 15, 2008- "Access Hollywood" is kicking off its 13th season in national syndication with a new contemporary on-air look and several new segments, including "Access Granted, "Hometown Visits" and "Access Search Engine."

The show's successful companion website AccessHollywood.com is also getting a number of new upgrades, including a hot new look and user feel. Consumers will find a new layout that includes a dynamic interactive flash panel at the top of the site and more interactivity than ever. And as part of its 13th season, "Access Hollywood" is going to celebrate becoming a teenager with several different celebratory efforts, including a search for the biggest "High School Musical" fan in the country with "Access Hollywood's R U The Biggest High School Musical Fan?" contest and hometown visits with celebrities who give "Access" a sneak peek back into their teen years. In addition, due to the popularity of "Access Hollywood's" political coverage, the show will be covering all of the political debates, as well as the candidates during the final weeks leading up to the election.

"It's lucky 13 for 'Access Hollywood.' We are coming off our exclusive Olympic coverage and continuing on the campaign trail. 'Access Hollywood' is poised and primed to have its best season yet," says Executive Producer Rob Silverstein. "Our talent, news gathering and production staff are unmatched and we are ready to bring our audience even more access to Hollywood."

Some of the new segments that "Access Hollywood" is launching with its 13th season include "Hometown Visits," where the show will follow various celebrities to their hometowns and will kick off with a visit to co-anchor Nancy O'Dell's hometown, as well as "Access Granted," which shows viewers a side of Hollywood and other cities that they might not be aware existed.

"AccessHollywood.com continues its growth as the most dynamic & accurate celebrity news site online, with our re-launch on September 15th," says Jeremy Blacklow, Managing Editor, AccessHollywood.com. "There will be a stronger relationship between on-air and online segments through new features including the 'Access Search Engine,' which will allow our fans to select online what they'd like to see on-air the next day."

Since "Access Hollywood" prides itself on its accuracy, a new segment will separate fact from fiction and dispute daily entertainment stories or news that might be false. A new and revamped "Express" will feature more opinion and analysis, as well as commentary from the "Access Hollywood" hosts and other guests.

"Access Hollywood" kicked off its 13th season with a search for the biggest "High School Musical" fan in the country with "Access Hollywood's R U The Biggest High School Musical Fan?" contest. Fans submit a one-minute video showing why they are "High School Musical's" biggest fan and the lucky winner will receive a trip to the World Premiere of "High School Musical 3: Senior Year."

The on-air team at "Access Hollywood" is led by Nancy O'Dell and Billy Bush, who, as co-anchors, offer an engaging and fresh take on the world of entertainment news. Joining O'Dell and Bush are weekend co-anchors and daily show correspondents Shaun Robinson and Tony Potts, and special correspondent Maria Menounos.

"Access Hollywood" is produced by NBC and distributed by NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution. Rob K. Silverstein is the Executive Producer.
