GARY UNMARRIED (CBS) - Kathryn Newton has joined the cast of the freshman comedy. She'll play Louise, the daughter of Jay Mohr's character. Producers had been looking to recast the role, which was originally played by Laura Marano. Original cast member Larry Miller was also recast in favor of Ed Begley Jr. earlier this month. In addition, Al Madrigal has been upped to series regular on the half-hour, which premieres Wednesday, September 24 at 8:30/7:30c. He'll continue on as Dennis Lopez, the best friend and co-worker of Mohr's Gary.
MYNETWORKTV ORIGINAL SERIES - The fledgling netlet has opted to retitle its newcomers "Funniest Moments" and "Magic's Biggest Secrets Revealed." The latter, now dubbed "Magic's Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed," premieres Monday, October 6 at 9:00/8:00c while the former, now monikered "World's Funniest Moments," is due on Wednesday, October 8 at 8:00/7:00c.
