HALLMARK CHANNEL GOES ON LOCATION WITH FIRST-EVER ONLINE SERIES PREMIERING FRIDAY, AUGUST 15

Hallmark Channel will launch "Hallmark Channel on Location," the network's first-ever hosted online series devoted to the behind-the-scenes news and events of the network's roster of family-friendly original movies as well as Hollywood films. Available at www.hallmarkchannel.com, "Hallmark Channel on Location" will feature informal and intimate interviews with stars, writers, producers and directors, as well as on-set storiesall providing a close-up look at the magic of moviemaking. "Hallmark Channel on Location" will cover each new Hallmark Channel original movie, and will have a permanent home on a specially-designed microsite. The series will also visit red-carpet theatrical premieres and press junkets. The half-hour program premieres online on Friday, August 15, with segments also appearing on Hallmark Movie Channel.

Hallmark Channel has hired Stacey Gualandi to produce each episode and serve as the series' interviewer and host. She reports to Marvin Dorson, Senior Vice President, Creative Services. "'Hallmark Channel on Location' results from our increasing investment in quality, original, online content where viewers will have yet another opportunity to satisfy their appetite for all things Hallmark Channel and all things Hollywood," said Dorson. "We're also thrilled to have Stacey on board as the energetic new host of this series. Her production experience coupled with her refreshing on-camera personality will make this show not only informative and entertaining, but also distinctive."
