TLC Turns Up the Heat With a New Slate of Original Summer Programming

LOS ANGELES, July 10 -- TLC is making a splash this summer with an all-new schedule of original non-scripted series. Following on the recent premiere of THE SINGING OFFICE, the summer season will continue to entertain viewers with more of the network's signature brand of real-life reality programming, going inside the worlds of fashion, design, home, and relationships, and featuring compelling people leading interesting lives.

This summer, TLC's new and returning series include:

ASHLEY PAIGE: BIKINI OR BUST

Series premiere: Friday, July 11th at 10 & 10:30 PM ET/PT

Follow famed bikini designer Ashley Paige, whose bikinis are seen on magazine covers and A-list clientele, as she struggles to keep her business running. Thankfully, her mom Leah is on hand to help navigate life in Los Angeles, along with assistant Antoinette and Juan, who hand-knits Ashley's designs into spectacular suits. Can Ashley build her company, wow the design world and keep her life afloat? Series is produced by 25/7 Productions; Executive Producer is Dave Broome.

SAY YES TO THE DRESS

Season premiere: Tuesday, July 15th at 8:00PM ET/PT

The second season of "Say Yes to the Dress" promises even more entertaining and emotional stories with women from all over the country as the eager brides-to-be make the rite-of-passage to the famed Kleinfeld bridal salon in NY in search of their perfect wedding dress. From the inspirational bride who recently beat cancer, to the indecisive bride who requires a whopping 16 fittings, this season showcases every type of bride who is on the hunt to find the dress that uniquely fits her style, personality, and budget. In addition, slight changes have been made to the Kleinfeld staff, including a new addition to management, Randy, who is the only male fashion director roaming the halls. Series is produced by Half Yard Productions; Executive Producers are Abby Greensfelder, Sean Gallegher, and Nicole Sorrenti.

ROCK THE RECEPTION

Series premiere: Tuesday, July 15th at 8:30PM ET/PT

The old school Bride and Groom first dance is now a thing of the past. Get ready to "Rock the Reception" with TLC as they follow two engaged couples who plan and stage an energetic, challenging and outright fun, first wedding dance. World class choreographers Napoleon and Tabitha D'umo -- well known for their celebrated routines on So You Think You Can Dance, and whose many credits also include working with Beyonce, Kanye West, and Celine Dion, guide these happy couples through missteps, flailing arms, laughter and tears to get their dancing feet ready in time for the big day. Series is produced by Brand New Entertainment; Executive Producers are Fernando J. Mills and Jude Weng.

MUST LOVE KIDS

Series Premiere: Tuesday, July 15 at 9PM ET/PT

The struggle to find love can be a challenge for anyone, but when you are a single parent, your children always come first. Follow three single moms who want to re-enter the dating world as they embark on a sincere search for their soul mate, while balancing their lives as working parents. It's a real-life journey of love and family in a dating series unlike anything else you've seen. Series is produced by Rocket Science; Executive Producer is Jean-Michel Michenaud.

TAKE HOME NANNY

Series premiere: Monday, July 21 at 8PM ET/PT

In each episode child-care expert Emma Jenner visits a family not only struggling with uncontrollable kids, but also facing preparations for a special event. Can Nanny Jenner manage the unruly children, at-wits-end parents and turn the family around to have a successful event, and lasting household harmony? Series is produced by Discovery Studios; Executive Producer is Gerry McKean.

WHO ARE YOU WEARING

Series premiere: Friday, August 22 at 10PM ET/PT

The show that gives would-be designers from all walks of life the opportunity to hear their name mentioned when a celebrity is asked, "Who are you wearing?" During each episode, hosted by Keisha Whitaker, four aspiring designers compete for the chance to design for, and dress, a celebrity prior to a red carpet event. At the end of the episode, there will be one winner who will live the dream of having their design worn by a celebrity. Series is produce by Reveille; Executive Producer is Fernando J. Hernandez.
