AN UNLIKELY PAIR TEAM UP TO RISK IT ALL IN THE NEW ABC FAMILY ORIGINAL MOVIE 'THE CUTTING EDGE 3: CHASING THE DREAM'

Catch All Three "The Cutting Edge" Movies During A Triple Axle Weekend Marathon

Burbank, CA (February 4, 2008) An ice skating pro and a newcomer set out to prove themselves against all odds in the new ABC Family original film THE CUTTING EDGE 3: CHASING THE DREAM, premiering on Sunday, March 16th (8:00 10:00 PM ET/PT). The third installment of the hit franchise stars Matt Lanter ("Heroes"), Francia Raisa ("Bring It On: All or Nothing") and Christy Carlson Romano ("The Cutting Edge 2").

Ice skating's hottest and most eligible bachelor, Zack Conroy (Lanter), is forced to find a new partner after an accident he causes leaves his teammate and ex-girlfriend out of commission with a broken leg. But when he chooses newcomer Alejandra "Alex" Delgado (Raisa), a gorgeous and tough Latina hockey player with some fierce moves and a fearless skating style, his coach and choreographer quits in disgust. With time running out and a reputation for being a dangerous skater, Zack must search for a new coach who can get him and his rookie partner into the International Championships in Paris. Looking for someone who can believe in him, as well as recognize Alex's raw talent, he goes to Jackie Dorsey (Carlson Romano), a once-famous skater who mysteriously left the business and retired early. Jackie, who in her day discovered a non-skater and ushered him into the big league ("The Cutting Edge 2"), is just daring enough to take on this impossible team.

Tensions are high with non-stop training while both Zack and Alex try to ignore the feelings they are starting to have for one another. With Zack's confidence shaken by the earlier accident and the sound of bad press ringing in his ear - Alex's strong determination helps push him on. They decide they must pull out all the stops if they are going to win in Paris. Can Zack and Alex get it together, on and off the ice, in time to show everyone what they are really made of?

Not able to get your fill of thrills on the ice with just one of "The Cutting Edge" movies? Then stay with ABC Family during the weekend of March 14th to prepare for the premiere of THE CUTTING EDGE 3: CHASING THE DREAM.
