ABC News to Provide Live Coverage of New Hampshire Primaries on Tuesday, January 8
Charles Gibson will anchor special reports throughout the evening in primetime after the polls have closed on Tuesday January, 8.

ABC NEWS TO PROVIDE LIVE COVERAGE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE PRIMARIES ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 8

ABC News, Facebook and WMUR-TV to Host Back-to-Back Republican and Democratic Presidential Candidate Debates on Saturday, January 5

ABC News will provide comprehensive coverage of New Hampshire primaries. Charles Gibson will anchor special reports throughout the evening in primetime after the polls have closed on Tuesday January, 8. Mr. Gibson and Terry Moran will anchor a special edition of "Nightline" at 11:35 p.m., ET and will be joined by "This Week" anchor George Stephanopoulos. In addition there will be reports from Democratic and Republican candidates' headquarters.

On Saturday, January 5, ABC News, WMUR-TV and Facebook will host back-to-back presidential debates at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH. The Republicans will debate from 7:00-8:30 p.m., ET and the Democrats will follow from approximately 8:45-10:15 p.m., ET. The two 90-minute debates, moderated by Mr. Gibson with questions from WMUR anchor and political director Scott Spradling, will air in primetime on the ABC Television Network.

Surrounding each debate, Diane Sawyer will anchor live reports, providing a recap and analysis of the evening's events. She will be joined by George Stephanopoulos. Additionally, ABC News correspondent Bianna Golodryga will report from the ABC News/Facebook desk.

"World News with Charles Gibson" and "Nightline" will both originate from Manchester, NH, with anchors Charles Gibson and Terry Moran reporting from the field, beginning Friday, January 4. Diane Sawyer will anchor "Good Morning America" live from Manchester on Tuesday, January 8.

On Saturday, January 5, Kate Snow will anchor "Good Morning America Weekend" from New Hampshire, with additional reporting from Ron Claiborne. That evening David Muir will anchor "World News" from the New Hampshire debate site, Saint Anselm College.

On Sunday, January 6, coverage will begin with Kate Snow anchoring "Good Morning America Weekend" and George Stephanopoulos anchoring "This Week" from the debate stage at Saint Anselm College. Charles Gibson returns that night to anchor "World News" from Manchester, and will continue through Tuesday night.

ABC News senior political editor Rick Klein will provide daily insight into the race from New Hampshire in "The Note." On the night of the New Hampshire primaries, ABCNEWS.com will provide real-time results in a searchable database, updated minute by minute with the latest exit polling information. The ABC News Political Radar blog will be continually updated with dispatches from off-air reporters traveling with the candidates, ABC News correspondents and anchors in the field.

ABC News Radio will provide full coverage of the New Hampshire primaries on Tuesday, January 8 with live reports throughout the day from Manchester. ABC News Correspondents Aaron Katersky and Steven Portnoy will be in Manchester, with ABC News Correspondent Vic Ratner reporting from the ABC News Decision Desk in New York. In addition to its regularly scheduled news programming, ABC News Radio will provide status reports � four times an hour � on the night of January 8 and into the morning of January 9. Additionally, ABC News Radio will continue running its weekday campaign update � ROAD TO THE WHITE HOUSE � through Inauguration Day, 2009.

On ABC News NOW, the network's 24/7 digital channel, Sam Donaldson will host wall-to-wall, on-the-ground coverage of the primaries. ABC News NOW will incorporate "Talk Back" videos throughout the evening and will have live web and digital camera access in New Hampshire, as young Democrats and Republicans follow the primary. "Vote 2008: The Issues" will air a special post-debate show from New Hampshire hosted by David Chalian on Monday, January 7. Additionally, ABC News NOW will be live at candidates' campaign headquarters.

ABC NewsOne, the network's affiliate news service, will provide around-the-clock coverage of the primaries, with correspondents T.J. Winick and Yunji De Nies reporting from New Hampshire. Veteran political reporters Sam Donaldson and Cokie Roberts will provide analysis, and additional reporting from Rick Klein's "The Note" will also be featured.
