U.S. Broadcast Premiere Slated Under The "Spike Guy Movies" Umbrella
New York, NY, December 13, 2007 � Academy Award�-winning actor Morgan Freeman ("Million Dollar Baby"), Academy Award�-winning actor Kevin Spacey ("The Usual Suspects"), LL Cool J ("S.W.A.T.") and Justin Timberlake in his first major feature film role star in "Edison Force," premiering on Sunday, December 23rd from 10 p.m. � 12 midnight (ET/PT) on Spike TV. This U.S. broadcast premiere is slated under the "Spike Guy Movies" umbrella that will air throughout 2008.
"Edison Force" is an intense action-thriller about a fresh-faced journalist who finds his life in danger when he uncovers a den of corruption in the Edison police department. While reporting on a homicide case, Pollack (Timberlake) witnesses a suspicious exchange and begins his own investigation into the murder. What he finds is just the tip of the iceberg of a powerful network of corruption within the city's justice system. In order to save his own life, Pollack must rely on the guidance of a jaded reporter (Freeman) and a private investigator (Spacey) to help him expose the truth.
