NEW YORK, October 29, 2007 -- Best friends battle it out with hilarious competitions in "Kenny vs. Spenny," a half-hour series created by and starring Kenny Hotz and Spencer Rice. A special "sneak peek" presentation of the series debuts Wednesday, November 14 at 12:30 a.m.
"Kenny vs. Spenny" will air regularly on COMEDY CENTRAL on Sundays at 11:30 p.m., beginning on November 18.
"Kenny vs. Spenny" is a reality/comedy series that pits childhood friends against each other in outrageous competitions. The winner achieves short-term glory and bragging rights, while the loser is forced to perform a humiliating stunt of the winner's choosing. The debut episode challenge, premiering on November 14, is "Who Can Blow the Biggest Fart?" and the second episode, premiering on Sunday, November 18, is titled �Who Can Eat More Meat.� Future challenges include; "Who Can Stay Naked the Longest?," "First Guy To Get A Boner Loses," "Who Can Last the Longest Without Arms?" and "Who Do Gay Guys Like More?"
The high jinks continue off-air as comedycentral.com provides fans with an online experience that will truly enhance their appreciation for this no-holds-barred duo. Each week the "Kenny vs. Spenny" sitelet will feature uncensored content that is beyond doubt too hot for basic cable including preview clips of upcoming episodes and extensive highlights of the wildest moments from the show. In addition, comedycentral.com will be launching exclusive webisodes to accompany each new episode which will include additional mini-challenges for the guys as well as Kenny and Spenny's behind-the-scenes commentary of each show.
COMEDY CENTRAL has licensed 10 new episodes of the reality/comedy from Blueprint Entertainment and Breakthrough Films & Television and has acquired 10 classic episodes from the "Kenny vs. Spenny" library. "South Park" creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker have joined as executive producers for the new episodes.
The new "Kenny vs. Spenny" episodes will be produced by Blueprint Entertainment and Breakthrough Films & Television in association with Showcase in Canada. Hotz, Rice, Stone and Parker executive produce with John Morayniss, Noreen Halpern, Peter Williamson, Ira Levy and Abby Finer. Seth Cohen is the executive in charge of production for COMEDY CENTRAL.
