LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC has issued start dates for its newcomers "Set for Life" and "Masters of Science Fiction" as well as a return date for "Extreme Makeover" and a repurposed run for ABC Family's "Greek."
The news, confirmed via advance listings from the network, marks the second wave of the Alphabet's summer slate.
In addition to the already premiered "The Ex-Wives Club" (Mondays at 9:00/8:00c), "Next Best Thing" (Wednesdays at 8:00/7:00c), "Traveler" (Wednesdays at 10:00/9:00c) and "National Bingo Night" (Fridays at 9:00/8:00c), ABC also has "American Inventor" (Wednesday, June 6 at 9:00/8:00c), "Fast Cars & Superstars" (Thursday, June 7 at 8:00/7:00c), "Shaq's Big Challenge" (Tuesday, June 26 at 9:00/8:00c), "Primetime: Family Secrets" (Tuesday, June 26 at 10:00/9:00c), "I-Caught" (Monday, August 6 at 10:00/9:00c), "Primetime: Crime" (Tuesday, August 7 at 10:00/9:00c), "NASCAR in Primetime" (Wednesday, August 8 at 9:00/8:00c) and "Fat March" (August, exact date TBA) due in the coming weeks.
As for its latest additions, the Jimmy Kimmel-hosted "Life" will launch on Friday, July 20 at 8:00/7:00c while "Masters of Science Fiction" will join the network's lineup on Saturday, August 4 at 10:00/9:00c.
Meanwhile, "Extreme Makeover" will broadcast its three remaining installments on Mondays at 9:00/8:00c starting July 2.
And finally, encores of "Greek" are set to assume the Friday, 9:00/8:00c slot on July 13. (The series regularly airs on Mondays at 9:00/8:00c starting July 9 on the cable channel.)
It's not clear if fellow ABC Family original "Kyle XY," which likewise will encore on the network on Fridays at 8:00/7:00c starting June 15, will continue to encore on the Alphabet once "Life" joins its lineup.
Still to be announced: premiere dates for "Greg Behrendt's Wake-Up Call" and "Just for Laughs."
