EXCLUSIVE BROADBAND PROGRAMMING ON TAP FOR SCI FI PULSE
New York, NY March 21, 2007 In keeping with SCI FI's commitment to providing a full 360 entertainment experience for viewers, Craig Engler, Senior Vice President of SCIFI.COM and SCI FI Magazine, today announced an online programming extension exclusive to SCI FI Pulse, the Channel's successful broadband destination. This new project reflects SCI FI's leadership in developing innovative new content for audiences across multiple platforms.
Building on the popularity of SCI FI's runaway hit series, Who Wants To Be A Superhero?, which returns this summer, SCI FI's Pulse will present The Superhero After Show (working title), hosted by season one's celebrated runner up, Major Victory.
Immediately after each premiere episode of the new season, with its wild array of grueling challenges, Major Victory will interview Superhero contestants as they depart the show -- their hopes for Superhero immortality dashed but their Superhero resolve undiminished. The thrill of Victory meets the agony of defeat as each departing challenger shares reflections on their show experience and their plans for the future, exclusively on SCI FI Pulse.
Major Victory, also known as Chris Watters, became a fan favorite in Superhero's breakout first season for injecting the show with his heartfelt brand of humor and spunk. Who Wants To Be A Superhero? is a production of Nash Entertainment, in association with Stan Lee's POW! Entertainment, Inc. Bruce Nash and Stan Lee serve as executive producers.
SCI FI Channel is a television network where "what if" is what's on. SCI FI fuels the imagination of viewers with original series and events, blockbuster movies and classic science fiction and fantasy programming, as well as a dynamic Web site (www.scifi.com ) and magazine.
