NEW YORK, March 5, 2006 -- David Spade returns for a third season to expose the satire hiding in Hollywood's happenings and the twisted world of the entertainment industry. COMEDY CENTRAL's "The Showbiz Show with David Spade" premieres on Thursday, March 15 at 10:30 p.m.

The third season will consist of new segments and include the returning favorites, the googly-eye dolls, "There I Said It" segments and Spade's celebrity sit-downs. There will also be new correspondents on the show including Edi Patterson, Coleen Smith and Andy Daly will return this season.

"The Showbiz Show with David Spade" is a half-hour, topical, comedy series about Hollywood, celebrity and the entertainment industry. "The Showbiz Show" calls it like it sees it, cutting through the industry hype with a host who knows all about the business from the inside and provides the tell-it-like-it-is voice of comedy that is desperately needed in today's celebrity-obsessed world.

"The Showbiz Show" highlights all of Hollywood's self-importance and hypocrisy by using actual footage, clips and on-location field pieces, along with celebrity guests and comic personalities who appear as critics and correspondents. The second season included appearances by Jessica Alba, Jack Black, Kristin Cavallari, Sean Hayes, Jon Heder, Michelle Rodriguez and Adam Sandler, among others.

"The Showbiz Show" Web site on theshowbizshow.com will feature a blog written by Spade and the show writers, exclusive video content including preview clips and highlight videos from the show. In addition, the site will allow for viewers to create, upload and post videos on the blog that the show may even use on-air. The site will contain three games: "Celebrity Gridpicker," "Inconceivable" and "Walk It Off."

Encore presentations of "The Showbiz Show with David Spade" will air on Thursdays at 12:30 a.m., and Sundays at 12:00 a.m.

Credits for "The Showbiz Show with David Spade" include Spade, Eddie Feldmann (Emmy Award-winning writer and producer for "Dennis Miller Live"), Pariah's Gavin Polone and the Brillstein-Grey Company's Peter Traugott and Marc Gurvitz as executive producers. Zoe Friedman and Dave Koga serve as the executives in charge of production for COMEDY CENTRAL.
