Open Casting Calls For Individuals with Keen Perception and Instincts Willing to Test Their Impulses for the Chance to Win $500,000 as "Identity" Contestants

BURBANK February 9, 2007 -- The returning hit game show "Identity" is in search of contestants willing to take on the ultimate game of "who's who" for the chance to win $500,000 as casting calls have been set for Chicago, Las Vegas, Atlanta, Phoenix and Dallas between February 9 and 24. "Identity," which is hosted by Emmy Award-winning comedian-magician Penn Jillette, will return to the NBC schedule in the Spring.

"Identity" is an intense game of impulse and reasoning where keen perception and instincts can lead to big money. Each contestant faces 12 new strangers and a list of 12 new identities. The game unfolds as the contestant picks an identity -- ranging anywhere from a profession to a shoe size -- and tries to match it with one of the 12 strangers. The amount of money the contestant accumulates increases with each correctly identified stranger. If all 12 are matched up correctly, the player is rewarded with the top prize of $500,000.

The series' casting producers are in search of intuitive and enthusiastic individuals who possess an uncanny ability to read people. Those wishing to face the "Identity" challenge may obtain applications by visiting www.nbc.com. Candidates may begin lining up one-hour prior to the start time and should arrive with their applications completed. Casting producers will interview candidates on a first-come, first-served basis and some candidates may be asked to play a condensed version of "Identity."
