LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- "The Bachelor" will have a new partner - "Dancing With the Stars" - when it returns for its 10th season, ABC confirmed today.
Launching Monday, April 2 at 9:30/8:30c, the new season - subtitled "The Officer and a Gentleman" - will expand to 90-minute installments each week, leading out of "Stars'" 90-minute performance shows.
Said development means that all three of ABC's current Monday entries - "Wife Swap," "Supernanny" and "What About Brian" - will wrap their runs by the end of March. The Alphabet renewed both "Swap" and "Supernanny" earlier this month (read the story) while "Brian's" future likely won't be decided until the network's upfront presentation in May.
