OSCAR, GRAMMY AND TONY AWARD WINNER ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER TO MAKE A SPECIAL APPEARANCE AS A GUEST JUDGE ON NBC'S NEWEST REALITY COMPETITION SERIES "GREASE: YOU'RE THE ONE THAT I WANT" ON SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 11.

BURBANK, Calif. January 30, 2007 Oscar, Grammy and Tony Award-winning composer Andrew Lloyd Webber will make a special appearance as a guest judge on NBC's newest reality competition series "Grease: You're the One That I Want" on Sunday, February 11 (7-9 p.m. ET). The two-hour live show begins with the results of America's vote following the January 28th episode and the first dramatic elimination of one Sandy and one Danny hopeful. The remaining 12 finalists will then compete in a Broadway-themed episode with half of the contestants performing songs from Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals and the other half singing an array of songs from other popular musicals.

Andrew Lloyd Webber is the composer of "The Likes of Us," "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," "Jesus Christ Superstar," "By Jeeves," "Evita," "Variations," and "Tell me on Sunday" later combined as "Song & Dance," "Cats," "Starlight Express," "The Phantom of the Opera," "Aspects of Love," "Sunset Boulevard," "Whistle Down the Wind," "The Beautiful Game," and "The Woman in White." He composed the film score of "Gumshoe" and "The Odessa File," and a setting of the Latin Requiem Mass Requiem.

Lloyd Webber has also produced in the West End and on Broadway not only his own work but also the Olivier award-winning plays "La Bete" and "Daisy Pulls It Off." In summer 2002 in London he presented the groundbreaking A R Rahman musical "Bombay Dreams."

In 2004, Webber produced a film version of "The Phantom of the Opera" directed by Joel Schumacher. This past year he oversaw the new production of "Evita" in London and a unique version of "The Phantom of the Opera" in Las Vegas. This past autumn he presented a new production of "The Sound of Music" at the London Palladium having cast the leading role via the hit BBC TV series "How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?"

Webber purchased the Palace Theatre in 1983 and now owns seven London theaters including the Palace, The Theatre Royal Drury Lane and the London Palladium.

This past December, he received a Kennedy Center Honor, one of the highest awards for achievement in the arts in the United States. Other awards include seven Tony's, three Grammy's including Best Contemporary Classical Composition for "Requiem," six Oliviers, a Golden Globe, an Oscar, an International Emmy, the Praemium Imperiale and the Richard Rodgers Award for Excellence in Musical Theatre. "The Beautiful Game," which used the sectarian war in Northern Ireland as a metaphor of the tragedy of religious conflict worldwide, was his first production to receive the London Critic's Circle Award.

Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber was knighted in 1992 and created an honorary life peer in 1997.

NBC is searching for the next Sandy and Danny in "Grease: You're the One That I Want," a new talent-competition series from BBC Worldwide Productions, where America will ultimately get to choose the two leads for a new Broadway production of "Grease." The new production of "Grease" will open on Broadway in July 2007, and will be directed and choreographed by two-time Tony Award-winner Kathleen Marshall ("The Pajama Game"). Marshall is also a judge on the TV series along with Jim Jacobs, the co-creator of "Grease" and renowned theater producer David Ian. Billy Bush ("Access Hollywood") and Denise Van Outen ("Chicago") serve as host and co-host.

"Grease: You're the One That I Want" is produced by BBC Worldwide Productions. Al Edgington ("Last Comic Standing," "The Amazing Race"), Lou Stroller ("Tomb Raider," "The Rock," "Scarface") and Paul Telegdy, Senior Vice President, Programming and Production, BBC Worldwide, are the executive producers; Suzy Lamb ("BBC UK's "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?") is co-executive producer
