January 16, 2007 (Burbank, CA) In a move that is certain to intrigue longtime fans and attract new viewers, Yahoo! TV (http://tv.yahoo.com/) will stream an extended preview of the first act of a key episode of The CW's hit series "Smallville" the day prior to broadcast. In addition, Yahoo! will present a feature package chronicling the superheroes and villains of "Smallville." A special photo gallery will accompany exclusive quotes from the stars of the series. The stream launches on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, and the "Justice" episode airs on The CW Thursday, January 18 (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET).

The episode "Justice" plays a pivotal role in the storyline of "Smallville," as it depicts the genesis of a new heroic alliance. When Oliver Queen (Justin Hartley), aka the Green Arrow, sends out for reinforcements, Bart Allen (Kyle Gallner), aka Impulse; Arthur "AC" Curry (Alan Ritchson), aka Aquaman; and Victor Stone (Lee Thompson Young), aka Cyborg, return to Smallville to help Oliver take down a secret LuthorCorp laboratory. During a break-in at the facility, Bart is captured and tortured by Lex (Michael Rosenbaum), but when Clark (Tom Welling) tries to rescue Bart, he is felled by meteor rock. An alarmed Chloe (Allison Mack) asks Oliver for help, and the newly formed team springs into action.

With realistic portrayals and state-of-the-art special effects, "Smallville" reinterprets the Superman mythology from its roots. "Smallville" stars Tom Welling, Kristin Kreuk, Michael Rosenbaum, Erica Durance, Allison Mack with John Glover and Annette O'Toole. The series was developed for television by Alfred Gough & Miles Millar, based on DC Comics characters. The executive producers are Gough & Millar, Mike Tollin, Brian Robbins, Joe Davola and Ken Horton. Superman was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. From Tollin/Robbins Productions, Millar/Gough Ink and Warner Bros. Television, "Smallville" airs Thursdays (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) on The CW Network.
