MARGARET CHO TO GUEST-STAR ON TIL DEATH

Anthony Anderson to Reprise Role as Cofeld

Comedian Margaret Cho will guest-star as Nicole Cofeld, a friend of Joy Starks (Joely Fisher), on TIL DEATH. Cho begins production this week and will appear in an episode airing in early 2007. Guest star Anthony Anderson will return to the show as Cofeld, Eddies (Brad Garrett) friend and Nicoles husband. TIL DEATH airs Thursdays (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Chos character Nicole is Joys fight friend a friend Joy turns to for help when she and Eddie (Brad Garrett) are fighting. When Eddie confronts Joy about Nicole and they get in a heated argument, they both turn to their fight friends for support Joy teams up with Nicole and Eddie turns to Cofeld to prove their points.

Cho was raised in San Francisco. She started performing stand-up at age 16 in a comedy club called The Rose & Thistle, located above a bookstore her parents ran. In her early 20s, Cho hit the college circuit, garnering a nomination for Campus Comedian of the Year. Arsenio Hall introduced her to late-night audiences, Bob Hope put her on a primetime special and, seemingly overnight, Cho became a national celebrity.

After the success of her first tour, I'm the One That I Want, Cho launched Notorious C.H.O. in 2001, a smash-hit, 37-city national tour. She toured again in 2003 and 2005 with Revolution and Assassin, respectively.

In addition to her busy touring schedule, Cho has written two books, maintains an award-winning blog, has taken up belly dancing and, since the spring of 2006, hosts her own monthly burlesque, comedy and belly dance showcase called "The Sensuous Woman."

Cho recently received the First Amendment Award from the ACLU of Southern California and the Intrepid Award from the National Organization for Women (NOW). She has also been honored by GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation), American Women in Radio and Television, the Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund, the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force (NGLTF), the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund (AALDEF) and PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) for "making a significant difference in promoting equal rights for all, regardless of race, sexual orientation or gender identity."

Nominated for a Peoples Choice Award for Favorite New Comedy and created by real-life husband-and-wife team Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa, 'TIL DEATH is a comedy that looks at married life from two very different perspectives. One couple played by Brad Garrett and Joely Fisher has been married for decades, while their new neighbors played by Eddie Kaye Thomas and Kat Foster have been married for just a few weeks. Created and executive-produced by Goldsmith and Yuspa, TIL DEATH is a Sony Pictures Television production.
