The 'Ultimate Fighter 4: The Comeback' Finals Are Set!

Matt Serra and Chris Lytle to Battle in Welterweight Final Travis Lutter and Patrick Cote Square Off in Middleweight Final Spike TV to Air Fights Live on Saturday, November 11 at 9:00 PM ET From Las Vegas

NEW YORK, Nov. 3 -- After twelve weeks of elimination bouts, four fighters remain, and the stakes have never been higher -- a $100,000 cash prize from the Ultimate Fighting Championship(R), a $100,000 sponsorship from XYIENCE, and, most importantly, a TITLE SHOT -- The Ultimate Fighter(R) 4: The Comeback finals are set.

In the Middleweight Final, Travis Lutter takes on Patrick "The Predator" Cote, while Matt "The Terror" Serra will fight Chris "Lights Out" Lytle in the Welterweight Final. Spike TV presents the fights LIVE on Saturday, November 11 at 9:00 PM ET from The Joint at The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

Spike TV will air a 12-hour marathon featuring all twelve episodes from its hit series The Ultimate Fighter(R) 4: The Comeback on Saturday, November 11 from 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, ET/PT. The live finale is the culmination of the 13-week series featuring sixteen mixed martial artists in pursuit of a shot at the UFC(R) title that has eluded them to this point in their careers.

ABOUT THE FINALISTS:

Middleweights

PATRICK "THE PREDATOR" COTE

Fighting out of Quebec, the 26 year-old Cote began his UFC(R) career as a replacement opponent against light heavyweight and The Ultimate Fighter(R) 3 coach Tito Ortiz in UFC 50: The War of '04. Describing the fight as surreal, Cote was given the assignment on short notice, and stepped toe-to-toe with his idol. Despite losing by unanimous decision in three rounds, Patrick impressed the UFC(R) world by sending Ortiz to the mat in the first round, and hanging tough in his debut.

A member of Team Mojo, Cote defeated Team No Love's Jorge Rivera in their preliminary match via unanimous decision. In the semifinals, Cote bested teammate Edwin "Bam Bam" DeWees, again by unanimous decision, to land him in the finals.

TRAVIS LUTTER

The pride of South Dakota, Lutter attended Western Springs High School where he was an all-state wrestler. Lutter continued his education at Northern State University in South Dakota where he majored in Criminal Justice. After seeing Royce Gracie fight at an early age, he realized his destiny was to master Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Lutter moved to Dallas, Texas to hone his craft where he currently lives and trains. Lutter has fought all over the world including Brazil, Denmark, Japan, and England. He made his UFC(R) debut with a victory over Marvin Eastman at UFC 50 in October, 2004.

A member of Team No Love, Lutter was the only member of his squad to advance to the semifinals, doing so by submitting Team Mojo's Scott Smith via rearnaked choke during their preliminary bout. In the semifinals, Lutter used his world class jiu jitsu skills to dominate all three rounds against Team Mojo's Pete "Drago" Sell and punch his ticket to the finals in Las Vegas.

Welterweights

MATT "THE TERROR" SERRA

Serra, 32, a graduate of East Meadow High School in Long Island, New York, runs Serra Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in East Meadow. Serra began training under Renzo Gracie in the mid 90's and was awarded the black belt in 2000, the first American to have such an honor under Gracie. Serra trains with The Ultimate Fighter(R) 3 finalist, Luke Cummo. He carries a 4-4 UFC(R) record including victories over the highly touted Yves Edwards and Ivan Menjivar.

A member of Team Mojo, Serra reached the semifinals by defeating Pete Spratt via tapout due to strikes. In the semifinals, Serra was able to avenge his previous loss to Shonie Carter in UFC 31 by defeating him with a series of takedowns and scoring a unanimous decision with the judges, earning a chance at a title shot in the process.

CHRIS "LIGHTS OUT" LYTLE

31 year old Chris Lytle is a Hoosier through and through. Born and raised in Indianapolis, IN, Lytle has a degree in Sports Management from Indiana University. The 31 year-old fireman is a married father of four children, ages 2, 5, 9, and 10 years old. Lytle made his UFC(R) debut in November, 2000 with a loss to Ben Earwood at UFC 28. His big break occurred 3 years later at UFC 45 when he lost a close decision in a grueling match against Robbie Lawlor. He currently holds an 18-12-5 MMA record and a 13-1-1 professional boxing record. Most recently, he fought at UFC 55 and lost to Joe Riggs via TKO.

A member of Team Mojo, Lytle, like his finals counterpart Matt Serra, defeated Pete Spratt en route to the finals, tapping him out in their preliminary bout. In the semifinals, Lytle beat his sparring partner, Din Thomas, scoring a unanimous decision, pitting him against Matt Serra in the finals for a shot at the welterweight title.
