Hit Comedy THE KING OF QUEENS Joins TBS�s Line-Up

TBS Celebrates Arrival of Popular Series with Six-Hour Marathon Sunday, Oct. 8
TBS welcomes the newest addition to the �very funny� network�s afternoon comedy block when the hit series THE KING OF QUEENS joins the afternoon line-up Monday, Oct. 2 and the Friday prime-time line-up Oct. 6. The show, which stars Kevin James, Leah Remini and Jerry Stiller, will air weekdays at 5 and 5:30 p.m. (ET/PT), as well as Fridays at 8 and 8:30 p.m. To celebrate the arrival, TBS will present a six-hour marathon of memorable episodes from the series� eight-year run Sunday, Oct. 8, starting at 6 p.m.
THE KING OF QUEENS revolves around Doug Heffernan (James), a Queens, N.Y., parcel delivery man who yearns for a quiet, normal life with his wife, Carrie (Remini). But now that Carrie�s widowed and eccentric father, Arthur (Stiller), has moved in with them, the peace and quiet for which Doug yearns may be next to impossible. Also starring in this hit series are Victor Williams as Doug�s best friend and coworker Deacon; Patton Oswalt as Doug�s buddy Spence; and Gary Valentine as Danny, Doug�s cousin. Several episodes of THE KING OF QUEENS feature characters from the series� sister show, Everybody Loves Raymond, including Ray and Debra Barone (Ray Romano & Patricia Heaton), and Ray�s overbearing mother, Marie (Doris Roberts).
TBS�s Sunday, Oct. 8, KING OF QUEENS marathon will feature 12 episodes, beginning with four episodes that feature characters from Everybody Loves Raymond:
6 p.m. �Road Rayge� � Doug meets a new friend, Ray Barone, who happens to have season tickets to the New York Jets. But when Doug gets caught trying to help out Ray on his driving test, he has his own license suspended.
6:30 p.m. �Rayney Day� � When Ray Barone calls and asks Doug if he wants to play golf at his private club, Doug cancels plans to spend a day with a friend in order to comfort him after his divorce. Meanwhile, Ray�s mother, Marie (Doris Roberts), arrives at the Heffernan�s early to pick Ray up and gives Carrie a lesson in cleaning, which Carrie milks for all it�s worth.
7 p.m. �Dire Strayts� � Doug and Carrie invite Ray and Debra Barone over for dinner.
7:30 p.m. �Raygin Bulls� � Doug and Ray Barone have a guy�s night out. Meanwhile, Carrie gets a shock upon visiting her mother�s grave.
8 p.m. �Pole Lox� � Doug convinces Carrie to take pole-dancing lessons, but is disappointed when she puts on a show for him. Meanwhile, Arthur worries her new hobby is a result of his poor parenting and smothers her in effort to make up lost time.
8:30 p.m. �G�Night Stalker� � Doug�s karaoke performance gets him an e-mail stalker.
9 p.m. �Apartment Complex� � Doug and his pals rent an apartment to use as a secret hang-out. Meanwhile, Carrie goes to great lengths to please her newest client (Kirstie Alley).
9:30 p.m. �Buy Curious� � When Doug and Carrie�s neighbor passes away, their grief is quickly replaced by hope when they realize his empty residence could prove to be a profitable investment. In their dash to close escrow, they become wary of another neighbor, Lou, whose neighborly way of maintaining the bereaved lawn raises their suspicions.
10 p.m. �Doug Less Part 1� � A newly svelte Doug evokes jealousy from Carrie, who just can�t hide her disdain when people constantly compliment her hubby on his weight loss. Doug decides to surprise her by taking her to an old holiday spot of theirs.
10:30 p.m. �Doug Less Part 2� � Doug surprises Carrie with a romantic weekend away at a resort, but their vacation is threatened when they try to get past an argument they�ve been having. Meanwhile, Deacon finds Spence and Danny in bed together. And Arthur decides he is in an emergency situation.
11 p.m. �Flame Resistant� � Carrie gets jealous when Doug�s mother would rather spend time with Doug�s ex-girlfriend from high school than with her.
11:30 p.m. �Shrink Wrap� � Arthur visits a psychiatrist and recalls a disturbing encounter with his father that may explain Arthur�s abrasive personality.
