From new series ("Freak Show") to new specials ("Stephen Wright Live at the Elgin Theatre" and "Pablo Francisco: Ouch!") to holiday giveaways ("Hallow-Win Weekend" and "Thanxgiveaway Wiikend") to returning series ("South Park" and "Drawn Together"), COMEDY CENTRAL is the best place to tune in and warm up in the months to come.

The following are descriptions of new series, new specials, holiday stunt programming, returning series and Network Television Premieres for Fall-Winter of 2006:

NEW SERIES

* "Freak Show" - Premieres Wednesday, October 4 at 10:30 p.m.

Based on an idea by David Cross ("Arrested Development," "Mr. Show") and H. Jon Benjamin ("Dr. Katz: Professional Therapist," "Home Movies"), "Freak Show" chronicles the adventures and misadventures of the illustrious Freak Squad, a band of freaks secretly employed by the United States government. When the Squad is not busy undertaking low-priority missions for the Pentagon, pitting them against the world's most notorious second-rate villains, they retreat to their alternate lives as performers in America's last independently-owned traveling freak show, Bob and Helen Hartsdale's Funtyme Freak Show. Whenever there's a mission too insignificant for A-list superheroes, have no fear, the Freak Squad is on it!

* "The Naked Trucker & T-Bones Show" - Premieres Wednesday, Janurary 17 at 10:30 p.m.

COMEDY CENTRAL is bringing comedic veterans Dave (Gruber) Allen and David Koechner and their off-beat, outrageous stage personas to television in a free-wheeling weekly roundup of their cross-country adventures in the "The Naked Trucker & T-Bones Show." With a live audience, twisted tales of the heartland, social commentary and original tunes, this is subversive, "high-low-brow" comedy where anything can happen.

NEW SPECIALS

* "Night of Too Many Stars: An Overbooked Event for Autism Charities" - Premieres Sunday, October 15 at 10:00 p.m.

Roll out the red carpet...COMEDY CENTRAL is gearing up for a live mega-watt event! The all-comedy network is partnering with Jon Stewart's Busboy Productions for its first-ever live, on-air special event, "Night of Too Many Stars: An Overbooked Event for Autism Charities," a benefit for Autism education and research programs. Live from New York City's Beacon Theater, Stewart and many of comedy's leading lights and celebrity all-stars including Adam Sandler, Jack Black, Sacha Baron Cohen ("Da Ali G Show"), Stephen Colbert ("The Colbert Report") and Triumph the Insult Comic Dog ("Late Night with Conan O'Brien"), among many other TBA stars and celebs, will perform to raise money to help ease the severe shortage of effective schools and education programs for autistic children and adults. "Night of Too Many Stars" will also benefit Autism Speaks, an organization created to benefit Autism research.

* "Steven Wright Live at the Elgin Theatre" - Premieres Saturday, October 21 at 9:00 p.m.

The king of deadpan delivery, Steven Wright, comes to COMEDY CENTRAL with his brand new stand-up special. Catch all of Wright's new random nuggets of information and life observations in this one-hour stand-up special. In addition to hearing his latest ramblings, viewers will even get to hear some of his oddball songs. It's some fresh, new stand-up with so much off-the-wall comedy that fans' sides will be aching.

* "Ralphie May: Girth of a Nation" - Premieres Saturday, November 4 at 10:00 p.m.

Larger than life Ralphie May comes to COMEDY CENTRAL with his all-new, one-hour stand-up special. Find out what he would do if he ever met Jesus and what he looks for in a quality movie theatre. Tune in and laugh out loud with this brand new comedy special.

* "Pablo Francisco: Ouch!" - Premieres Saturday, November 11 at 11:00 p.m.

Pablo Francisco (a.k.a. the Movie Voice Guy a.k.a. Little Tortilla Boy) is back on stage for a full hour of dead-on impersonations and biting critiques of pop culture. Watch the hyperactive Francisco imitate dozens of movie characters, Hollywood stars and musicians as they interact with each other in real-time! It's energetic, innovative stand-up that viewers won't want to miss.

* "The Amazing Johnathan: Wrong on Every Level" - Premieres Saturday, November 18 at 10:00 p.m.

Stand up comedian/magician, The Amazing Johnathan, comes to the stage and rocks COMEDY CENTRAL in this brand new, one-hour, stand-up special. Check out Johnathan as he shows the audience that convincing magic is harder than it looks, crossing the line between illusion and comedy.

* "Gary Gulman: A Boyish Man" - Premieres Saturday, November 25 at 10:00 p.m.

Gary Gulman notices just about everything in life. Tune in as he discusses the pros and cons of being Jewish, why there really are 12 days of Christmas and why being a smart ass only works around certain people in his brand new one-hour stand-up special.

* "Last Laugh '06" - Sunday, December 10 Time TBD

"Last Laugh" brings the biggest talent in comedy and music together to reflect on and spin a year of insanity into comedy gold and, hopefully, to make some comic sense of the unbelievable year that was. "Last Laugh" features exclusive stand-up routines from the sharpest minds in comedy, as well as star-packed short films and comic segments that bring the year into focus and skewer the world of politics, sports, celebrity, movies and much more.

HOLIDAY STUNT PROGRAMMING

The catch: all of the prizes are disguised as objects throughout the network's programming all weekend long.
