Adult Swim Remains #1 for July Total Day Delivery of Adults 18-34, 18-24
Late-Night Cable Network Claims Eight of Top 50 Basic Cable Programs Among Men 18-34
Repeating its July �05 victory, Adult Swim claimed the July �06 #1 ranking among ad-supported basic cable networks for total day delivery of young adult demos, according to preliminary data from Nielsen Media Research. The late-night network ranked #1 among all its targeted audiences, including adults 18-34 (353,000), adults 18-24 (221,000), men 18-34 (223,000) and men 18-24 (150,000), the latter for 16 consecutive months. Adult Swim also ranked #6 for July total day delivery of adults 18-49 (484,000) and #6 for delivery of persons 2+ (1,098,000).
In addition to these claims, Adult Swim programs accounted for eight of July�s top 50 basic cable programs among men 18-34.
Adult Swim (AdultSwim.com), launched in 2001, is Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.�s network offering original and acquired animated comedy and action series for young adults.
