LOS ANGELES -- July 27, 2006 -- Edie Falco, James Gandolfini, Dennis Haysbert, Heidi Klum, Evangeline Lilly and Kiefer Sutherland have been confirmed as presenters for the 58th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. The show, hosted by Conan O'Brien ("Late Night with Conan O'Brien"), will broadcast live from Los Angeles' historic Shrine Auditorium, Sunday, August 27 (8:00-11:00 ET Live/ PT tape delayed) on NBC.

For her role as "Carmela Soprano," in the debut season of HBO's The Sopranos, Edie Falco is the first actress to ever receive the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Dramatic Series, the Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Dramatic Television Series, and the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama all in the same year. In the past, Falco has subsequently been nominated for each award for each eligible television season, winning two additional Emmy Awards, and another Golden Globe Award, as well as the American Film Institute's award for Female Television Actor of the Year. She also received the Television Critics Association's first-ever Award for Individual Achievement in Drama presented to a woman. Falco has starred in several feature films including "Cost of Living," "Laws of Gravity" "A Price Above Rubies," "Private Parts" and "The Funeral." Her television credits include a recurring role in the HBO dramatic series "Oz" and NBC's "Law and Order" and "Homicide."

James Gandolfini's portrayal of mob boss "Tony Soprano" on HBO's Emmy Award- winning drama, "The Sopranos," has brought him three Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Drama Series. He has also won three Screen Actors Guild Awards for this series lead role along with two for Outstanding Male Actor in a Drama Series and one shared with "The Sopranos" cast for Outstanding Ensemble Cast. This September, Gandolfini can be seen opposite Sean Penn and Jude Law in director Steve Zaillian's upcoming film All the King's Men. His most recent film credits include: Lonely Hearts opposite John Travolta and Salma Hayek and Romance & Cigarettes opposite Susan Sarandon and Kate Winslet. Gandolfini's other film credits include: "Surviving Christmas," " The Man Who Wasn't There," "The Last Castle," " The Mexican," "Eight Millimeter," "The Mighty," "Night Falls on Manhattan," " The Juror," "Get Shorty," "Le Nouveau Monde," "Terminal Velocity," and " True Romance."

The star of CBS' "The Unit," which premiered with record breaking ratings, Dennis Haysbert won his first television role on the Emmy-winning series "Lou Grant." He received his first Golden Globe nomination for his portrayal of President David Palmer on Fox's hit series "24" Haysbert has an extensive list of film credits including the critically acclaimed "Far from Heaven," Spike Lee's "For Love and Basketball," "Absolute Power," " Love Field," "Major League," "Heat," " Random Hearts," " What's Cooking," "Waiting to Exhale," The Thirteenth Floor," " Navy Seals," "Suture" and Dreamworks' animated film "Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas." Haysbert has also appeared in the critically acclaimed CBS series "Now and Again." Most recently, he has been seen in Sam Mendes' film "Jarhead" and is currently in production on the feature film "Goodbye Bafana," where he portrays Nelson Mandela.

Top model, author, designer and philanthropist Heidi Klum is the host and executive producer of Bravo's two-time Emmy-nominated series, "Project Runway" which was nominated this year for an Emmy for Outstanding Reality Competition Program. She has also hosted MTV's "Fashionably Loud Europe" and "Model Mission," the Discovery Channel's "Shark Week," and is currently working with the network on her own series of travel specials. Other television credits include: "Spin City," "Sex and the City," "CSI: Miami," "Malcolm in the Middle" and "The Larry Sanders Show." Klum has been featured on the covers and spreads of every top fashion magazine and has appeared in several advertising campaigns. In 2004, her lifestyle book, "Body of Knowledge: 8 Rules of Model Behavior," was released. Klum's charity involvements include work on behalf of the Red Cross and the Elizabeth Glazer Pediatric AIDS Foundation.

In 2002, Evangeline Lilly was discovered by a Ford talent agent on the streets of Kelowna, BC. After appearing in a few commercials, Lilly landed non-speaking roles of a corpse in the television episode "Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital" and in the film "The Long Weekend." In 2004, Lilly landed her first speaking role as the strong-minded survivor, "Kate," on ABC's hit show "Lost," which won the 2006 Golden Globe Award for Best Television Drama Series as well as the Screen Actor's Guild Award for Best Ensemble in a Drama Series. Lilly was recently nominated for a Teen Choice Award for Choice Actress in a Drama Series.

Kiefer Sutherland received his fourth Emmy nomination for his role as Jack Bauer in the critically acclaimed Fox drama "24," for which he has also won a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actor Guild Awards. Sutherland made his film debut in the Canadian drama "The Bay Boy." His other film credits include: "Taking Lives," "NASCAR: The Imax Experience," "Phone Booth," "To End All Wars," " A Soldier's Sweetheart," "Dark City." "An Eye for an Eye," "The Three Musketeers," "Article 99," " A Few Good Men," and "The Vanishing." He can most recently be seen starring in "The Sentinel." Sutherland has made television appearances in "The Mission," an episode of "Amazing Stories" and in the telefilm "Trapped in Silence."

The 58TH ANNUAL PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS, is being produced by NBC Universal Television Studio and is presented by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Jeff Ross and Ken Ehrlich are the executive producers; Renato Basile and Michael B. Seligman are the producers; Danette Herman is the coordinating producer and executive in charge of talent. Louis J.
