ABC & RHI ENTERTAINMENT TO AUCTION COSTUMES FROM THE UPCOMING MINISERIES THE TEN COMMANDMENTS

Auction Proceeds Will Benefit Habitat for Humanity

ABC Premiere Event: The Ten Commandments Will Air April 10 & 11 As a Two-Part, Four-Hour Blockbuster Production of the Classic Epic

ABC Television Network announced today that ten costumes from its upcoming, new original miniseries, The Ten Commandments, will be available for auction, with the proceeds to ABC benefiting Habitat for Humanity. The hand-made, period authentic costumes will be available for auction on www.abctvstore.com from Tuesday, April 4 at 2:00 p.m., PT to Friday, April 14, 2:00 p.m., PT.

ABC is proud to partner with RHI Entertainment to give collectors and fans an opportunity to own original costumes from The Ten Commandments, said Bruce Gersh, senior vice president, Business Development, ABC Entertainment and Touchstone Television. Having this auctions proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity is a continuation of our commitment to building better communities.

We are pleased to support such a worthy cause, while at the same time, making our authentic, one-of-a-kind costumes available to the public, said Robert Halmi, Sr., chairman of RHI Entertainment and executive producer of the miniseries.

This is a unique opportunity for fans to add to their collections while helping Habitat for Humanity continue its mission to eliminate poverty housing in the United States and around the world, said Chris Clarke, senior vice president of Communications for Habitat for Humanity International. We appreciate the generosity of ABC and RHI Entertainment in this effort.

Designed by costumer Ann Hollowood, the items up for auction include costumes from the following characters: Moses, Ramses, Miriam, Aaron, Joshua, Jethro, Jekuthiel, Reuven, Zipporah, Menerith and Tobia.

The Ten Commandments, an epic two-part, four-hour miniseries from RHI Entertainment, is an inspiring motion picture event. Shot on location in Ouarzazate, Morocco with a stellar international cast, the miniseries charts Moses dramatic journey -- from his narrow escape from death as a child to his emancipation of the Hebrew slaves and the renowned parting of the Red Sea. The blockbuster production of this classic epic is the product of months of biblical, historical and literary research to present the story of Exodus and offer a realistic portrayal of 13th century B.C. Egypt. The miniseries will air as an ABC Premiere Event in HDTV with 5.1-channel surround sound, MONDAY, APRIL 10 & TUESDAY, APRIL 11 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET, both nights) on the ABC Television Network.
