NBC News' Ann Curry, Subrata De and Lai Ling Jew and CNBC's Suze Orman Each Win Individual Achievement Awards
"Dateline NBC" Wins Outstanding Documentary Award
NEW YORK - March 1, 2006 - The networks of NBC News received a total of five esteemed Gracie Allen Awards. The 2006 winners of the Gracie Awards were announced by the American Women in Radio and Television (AWRT) Monday, February 27, 2006. The national award winners will be presented at a black-tie Gala in the Broadway Ballroom of the New York Marriott Marquis Monday, June 19, 2006.
Ann Curry, co-anchor of "Dateline NBC and news anchor of "Today," Subrata De, producer for "NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams," Lai Ling Jew, producer for "Dateline NBC," and Suze Orman, CNBC personal finance commentator and host of "The Suze Orman Show" each won Individual Achievement Awards.
"Dateline NBC" was awarded a Gracie Allen Award for Outstanding Documentary -Mid-Length Format for "To Catch a Predator."
