THE NBC AGENCY SALUTES THE WOMEN OF THE US SNOWBOARDING TEAM IN SPECIAL OLYMPICS MUSIC VIDEO FEATURING ROCK GROUP THE DONNAS

The Donnas perform their top single "Fall Behind Me" in the special promotion of NBC'S coverage of the upcoming Torino Olympic Winter Games

BURBANK, Calif. -- January 5, 2006 -- The NBC Agency has produced a special music video in partnership with the rock group, The Donnas, which showcases the awe-inspiring skills of the US women's snowboarding team. The video, which features gold medalist Kelly Clark, U.S. Open champion Gretchen Bleiler, world champion Lindsey Jacobellis and Grand Prix champion Hannah Teter, is just one of a number of unique promotional elements the agency is incorporating into their marketing campaign in support of NBC's coverage of the upcoming Olympic Winter Games taking place in Torino, Italy, February 10-26, 2006.

Shot on location at Snowbird Ski Resort in Utah, the video celebrates the power and accomplishment of women by bringing the female athletes together with the all-women rock group. In the piece, the snowboarders soar into the air above The Donnas who are performing their hit, "Fall Behind Me," at the base of the half-pipe. Inspired by the music and its message of confidence and competition, the snowboarders rise higher and higher with each trick as a crowd of fans gathers to cheer and celebrate the upcoming Olympic games.

The video, produced by The NBC Agency in a variety of lengths, is being run on the network as well as online, on cable and in retail. It can also be viewed in its entirety at OffThePodium.com.

America fell in love with The Donnas when they broke into the mainstream with the release of their third album in 2002, "Spend The Night" (Atlantic Records). Produced by Jason Carmer and Robert Shimp, the album debuted in the #1 position on the Billboard "Heatseekers" chart of new and developing artists. In 2004, The Donnas followed up their "Spend The Night" success with the much anticipated release of their "Gold Medal" album, which won instant rave reviews from such publications as Rolling Stone, Blender, Interview, Billboard and Time Magazine, to name only a few.

In addition to their albums, The Donnas have appeared on numerous television and radio shows as well as in print ads and television commercials. Their music has been featured in such films as "How To Deal" ("It's On The Rocks"), "What A Girl Wants" ("Who Invited You") and "Freaky Friday" ("Back Stage").
