[via press release from Bravo]

BRAVO AND STAR MAGAZINE CELEBRATE THE LAUNCH OF BRAVO'S NEW ORIGINAL SERIES "PARTY/PARTY" AND POLL AMERICANS ON WHAT'S ON THEIR PARTY WISH LIST

BRAD AND ANGELINA'S WEDDING IS THE HOTTEST TICKET IN TOWN, AMERICANS CHOOSE OPRAH OVER MARTHA TO PLAN THEIR NEXT PARTY; AND MOVE OVER MADONNA, TONY BENNETT TOPS LIST AS WHO THEY WOULD MOST WANT TO SING AT THEIR NEXT HOLIDAY PARTY

BRAVO'S "PARTY/PARTY" PREMIERES TUESDAY, DECEMBER 6 AT 9:00 P.M. ET/PT AND THE "PARTY/PARTY" POLL WILL BE PUBLISHED IN THE DECEMBER 19 ISSUE OF STAR MAGAZINE

NEW YORK -- December 1, 2005 -- Bravo and Star magazine teamed up to find out what makes a party hot. More than 1,000 respondents weighed in on which "A-listers" they'd put on their V.I.P. list and which celebrity celebrations they are dying to attend. Of those surveyed, Brad and Angelina's wedding would be the party most people would like to attend and they would be thrilled to see Cameron Diaz jumping out of their birthday cake. The internet omnibus survey was conducted by Greenfield Online, Inc for Bravo, in conjunction with the premiere of the network's new original docu-series "Party/Party." The series will premiere on Bravo on Tuesday, December 6 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. In addition, the results from the poll will be printed in the December 19 issue of Star magazine on newsstands on December 9.

Following are highlights from the Bravo/Star "Party/Party" Poll results:

No surprise: The "Brangelina" wedding is the hottest ticket in town, with nearly half of our respondents choosing their wedding as the one they would most like to be a guest at. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes came in with only 25%, just ahead of Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi (18%). Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman don't need to worry about party crashers with only 11% of respondents interested in attending their nuptials.

Oprah beats out Martha as the celebrity they'd most want to plan their holiday party. With an overwhelming 43% of the vote, Oprah topped Martha's 26%. Infamous party guy P. Diddy got 16% of the vote and Bravo's Fab Five (Queer Eye) had 15% of the vote.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's daughter is the "apple" of everyone's eye: Apple Martin came in with nearly half of the votes for the celebrity offspring you would want as ring bearer at your wedding, ahead of Sean Preston Federline (Britney & Kevin), Rocco Ritchie (Madonna & Guy) and Henry Guenther Ademola Dashtu (Heidi Klum & Seal).

People would "Put on a Happy Face" if Tony Bennett sang at their holiday party instead of Madonna! More people would want Bennett (39%) to perform at their party over the "Material Girl" (26%). England's rock and roll sons "Coldplay" came in close behind with 23%, and "50 Cent" wouldn't get his name in change for a holiday gig with only 11% picking him for their party entertainment.

Cameron Diaz is the icing on the cake! There must be something about Cameron...she came in as the #1 female celebrity folks would want to jump out of their birthday cake, with 36% of respondent choosing her over Jessica Simpson and Jessica Alba. Folks don't have a sweet tooth for Tyra Banks, who had only 17% of the votes.

George Clooney and Matthew McConaughey are in a dead heat for first place, as the celebrity male folks would most like to have jump out of their birthday cake, taking 38% and 37% of the votes respectively. Nobody was digging Taye Diggs, who came in with only 9% of the votes. Even "The Donald" was able to "Trump" up 17% of the vote, almost twice as many as Taye. The female participants had a bit of a different opinion with Matt taking 46%, Swooney Clooney getting 39%, Taye with 10% and Donald with only 5%.

Despite having a bun in the oven, Jennifer Garner was the popular pick for a bridesmaid with 43% of our respondents selecting her as the celebrity female they'd want in their wedding. Eva Longoria wasn't quite desperate with 28% of the vote, followed by Patricia Arquette with 21% and Mischa Barton with 8%.

The third time must truly be a charm for Jennifer Lopez since her wedding to Marc Anthony (in the backyard of their Beverly Hills Mansion) scored the most votes with a whopping 69% of people choosing this celebrity wedding as the one they would most want their own wedding to be like. An ad-sponsored wedding may not have been considered romantic by most since Star Jones and Al Reynold's Park Avenue wedding only got 5% of the votes.

Some went for classic and some went for new school with "Animal House" (44%) edging out "American Pie" (31%) for the favorite party movie. "Old School" has some fans with 16% and "Dazed and Confused" fans still remembered it despite short-term memory loss with 10% of the vote.

Everyone wants to be there if Seinfeld's Elaine and Jerry finally tie the knot! 40% of our respondents said that Elaine and Jerry were the TV pair wedding they'd most like to witness. If Jack and Kate (Lost) ever get off the island 23% of folks would RSVP for their wedding. Carrie and the elusive Mr. Big (Sex and the City) came in close behind with 21% and Luke and Lorelai's (Gilmore Girls) can save money on the catering with only 16% of the vote.

It's a three-way for Orlando, Russell and Jamie! Bloom, Crowe and Foxx were in dead heat for first place as the choice for who folks would want as their best man at their wedding. Colin Farrell's reputation as wild child may have affected him as a reliable choice with only 18% of respondents voting for him.

The ultimate party for most people happens on their wedding day and the ultimate place to get hitched was "barefoot on the beach." 44% of those polled felt that they wanted to feel sand between their toes when they tie the knot. 34% would stick with tradition and have their wedding at a church, synagogue or other house of worship. A five-star hotel was the next choice for folks with 20% of the vote. Last on anyone's list for the "big day" was having the ceremony at city hall getting only 2% of the vote.

Most people would dish out dollars for the biggest party of their life, but wouldn't go over-board. Over half of those polled (53%) would spend $50,000 and 26% would be penny-pinchers, only spending $500. There weren't many big wheels in our group with only 8% saying they'd spend 5 million on a party and 13% were somewhere in the middle saying they'd spend $500,000.

Bravo's poll of 1000 people was conducted by Greenfield Online, Inc. in an Omnibus study November 14-15, 2005.

Bravo's "Party/Party" shows that Americans can find any excuse to throw the party to end all parties! The new original series follows 16 diverse families as they put major time, energy, and cash into the planning and preparation of the perfect event. The episodes cover every party occasion you can think of...graduations, Bar Mitzvahs, children's birthdays, sweet sixteen's, weddings, gay weddings and even debutante balls. Each one-hour episode will explore the contrasting ways in which two very different families celebrate similar events. In some cases, one family has a limited budget while the other dishes out the dollars, covering the biggest Bat Mitzvah this side of Jerusalem (a $200,000 Manhattan affair) and a mother of seven who has to beg and borrow to pull-off the perfect budget Bar Mitzvah for her twin boys. The common bond of each family is their wish to throw the best party ever to create a life-long memory for the guest of honor. The "Graduations" episode of "Party/Party" airs on Tuesday, December 6 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
