Access Hollywood Announces Staff Promotions

"ACCESS HOLLYWOOD" ANNOUNCES STAFF PROMOTIONS

Show Veterans Adam Jordan, Mike Marson and Ryan Patterson Named Supervising Producers of Hit Entertainment News Magazine

BURBANK, Calif. -- November 30, 2005 -- "Access Hollywood" has promoted the trio of Adam Jordan, Mike Marson, and Ryan Patterson, who were all on the original team that launched the entertainment magazine 10 years ago, to Supervising Producers, it was announced today by Rob Silverstein, Executive Producer of "Access Hollywood," to whom they will continue to report.

"Adam, Mike and Ryan give 'Access Hollywood' an unrivaled powerhouse team of producers," says Silverstein. "Adam has the industry relationships, expertise and experience that makes him an invaluable asset to the show. When it comes to technical aptitude, as well as the ability to visualize the story before a frame is shot, there's nobody better than Mike. Ryan is an amazingly talented producer with unique creative instincts. Together, they bring a passion, quality and dedication to their work at 'Access Hollywood' that are essential to maintaining its excellence and credibility."

Jordan most recently served as Supervising Producer, Film for "Access Hollywood." In his new role, he will add oversight of the Television and Music departments to his watch. He will also continue to green light stories for coverage, match on air talent to those stories, oversee the show's segment producers and work with publicists from all areas of the entertainment world on a daily basis to book major talent interviews, set visits, events etc. Additionally, Jordan will continue to strategize long lead programming such as sweeps, special series and all the major award show coverage.

Jordan, who has worked alongside Silverstein on and off over the last 12 years, began his producing career in 1993 as the Coordinating Producer for both American Gladiators and International Gladiators. In 1996, he joined the original team that launched "Access Hollywood" as Segment Producer, Film. In 2000 Jordan was named Executive Director of National Publicity for Buena Vista Pictures Marketing, and returned to "Access Hollywood" in 2002.

Jordan, a native of New York, currently resides in Los Angeles and graduated in 1993 from the Film School at the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.

Marson most recently served as Senior Field Producer for "Access Hollywood." In his new position, he will participate in all final creative decisions on show content and story development, and will provide editorial guidance to daily show producers. Additionally, Marson will supervise "Access Hollywood's" enterprise unit, which includes the "Access Investigates" series. He will continue to write the opening sequence as well as promotional teasers for the daily show.

Marson began his career as a Los Angeles-based camera operator for CNN in 1983, and moved to New York to join the syndicated entertainment program, "Entertainment Tonight" in the same capacity in 1989. During his tenure there, Marson also worked on the Ed Burns film, "The Brothers McMullen," and produced the electronic publicity kit for Burn's second movie, "She's the One." He left "Entertainment Tonight" to join the creative team that launched "Access Hollywood" in 1996 as a Field Producer. Shortly afterward he worked his way up to Senior Field Producer and moved to the Los Angeles bureau.

Marson, a native of Santa Monica, CA, resides in Los Angeles and graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1983 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies.

Patterson most recently served as Weekend Show Producer for "Access Hollywood." In addition to retaining oversight of the weekend edition of the show, she will participate in all final creative decisions for the daily edition of the show, which involves script approval, generating innovative story ideas, and oversight of story execution and promotion. Additionally, Patterson oversees all fashion-related content for the show, including the "Fashion Fix" segment.

Patterson began her broadcast career at the syndicated entertainment program "Entertainment Tonight" as an intern in 1989, and worked her way up the ranks to Field Director. She left the show to join the creative team that launched "Access Hollywood" in 1996 as a Senior Field Producer. Shortly thereafter, Patterson was named Weekend Show Producer.

Patterson, a native of Charleston, South Carolina, currently resides in Los Angeles, and graduated in 1989 from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications.

"Access Hollywood," currently in its 10th season in national syndication is an entertainment newsmagazine that provides viewers with the latest Hollywood news, exclusive celebrity interviews, and behind-the-scenes accounts of the most important events in Hollywood. Nancy O'Dell and Billy Bush serve as co-anchors, and Shaun Robinson and Tony Potts serve as weekend co-anchors and daily show correspondents. Tim Vincent serves as New York Correspondent and Maria Menounos serves as Special Correspondent. The senior production team responsible for "Access Hollywood" consists of executive producer Rob K. Silverstein, senior producer Claudia Eaton, supervising producers Adam Jordan, Mike Marson and Ryan Patterson, and producer Robert Jarrin. Seen in more than 90 percent of the country, "Access Hollywood" airs on major market affiliates, including the NBC Universal Television owned stations.
