THE ENGAGEMENT RING � November 2005
In this endearing Johnson & Johnson Spotlight Presentation, Patricia Heaton of Everybody Loves Raymond and TNT�s own The Goodbye Girl stars as a woman who discovers the meaning of love, friendship and living life to its fullest after her mother�s long-lost engagement ring arrives in the mail. Lainie Kazan (My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Beaches), Vincent Spano (Alive, Oscar) and Tony Lo Bianco (The French Connection, City of Hope) co-star in this romantic story. THE ENGAGEMENT RING is directed by Emmy-winner Steven Schachter, who directed TNT�s acclaimed Door to Door and The Wool Cap, from a script by Frank Denson and Rodney Vaccaro (Three to Tango). It comes to TNT from MAGNA Global Entertainment, with Michael Jaffe (The Rosa Parks Story, TNT�s Word of Honor) and Howard Braunstein (The Rosa Parks Story, TNT�s Word of Honor) of Jaffe/Braunstein Films; Heaton and David Hunt of Four Boys Productions; and Steve Chicorel of Shoreline Entertainment serving as executive producers.

TNT invites viewers to stay home from the shopping blitz and settle in with a marathon of one of television�s most popular series. Classic episodes from the series� 15-year (and still going) run will be featured.

CHRISTMAS IN WASHINGTON � Wednesday, Dec. 14, at 8 p.m.
Dr. Phil and Robin McGraw will return for a second year as hosts of TNT�s annual presentation of the CHRISTMAS IN WASHINGTON concert. Popular recording artists Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood and Ciara will perform. Annually attended by the President and First Lady, Washington�s top politicians and VIPs, CHRISTMAS IN WASHINGTON celebrates the holiday in musical style while benefiting the National Children�s Medical Center. This year�s concert, produced by Emmy-winner George Stevens (Kennedy Center Honors), will be taped at the historical National Building Museum in Washington, D.C.

Peter Jackson�s visionary adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien�s fantasy trilogy opens with this Oscar�-winning adventure starring Elijah Wood, Ian McKellan, Liv Tyler, Viggo Mortensen, Sean Astin, Cate Blanchett, John Rhys-Davies, Billy Boyd, Dominic Monaghan, Orlando Bloom, Christopher Lee, Hugo Weaving, Sean Bean and Ian Holm. The story follows young Frodo as he embarks on a quest to destroy an evil ring which, should it fall into the hands of the dark lord Sauron, would forever cover the world in shadow. This epic tale earned Oscars� for its stirring score and its groundbreaking visual effects.
THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE TWO TOWERS � Friday, Dec. 9, at 8 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 10, at 8 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 11, at 8 p.m.
Peter Jackson�s adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien�s fantasy trilogy continues its story as young Frodo and Sam make their way through the wilderness, joined by the creature Gollum, who once owned the ring Frodo is determined to destroy. Meanwhile Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli and Gandalf help King Theoden protect his kingdom and his people from the treachery of Saruman�s hoards. And Merry and Pippin find themselves in a strange forest full of mysterious creatures called Ents. This stunning second installment in the trilogy features Oscar�-winning visual effects, including the CGI creation Gollum, performed by Andy Serkis.

TNT SPECIAL EVENT THE SCREEN ACTORS GUILD AWARDS � Sunday, Jan. 29
The captivating, live drama of one of the industry�s most respected award presentations, THE SCREEN ACTORS GUILD AWARDS is telecast live on TNT from the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles. The prestigious industry event honors performances in five film categories and eight television categories, including the unique Ensemble Award. The 2006 presentation will mark the first time sister network TBS will simulcast the ceremony with TNT.
