�The Reading Room,� a two-hour Hallmark Channel Original movie about humanity, dignity and one man�s legacy to fulfill his dying wife�s last request to restore both to the inner city neighborhood of the couple�s youth, premieres exclusively on the network, Saturday, November 26 (9/8 c).

�The Reading Room,� stars Academy Award� nominee (�The Great White Hope�) and three-time Emmy� Award winner and Golden Globe Award winner (�I Know What the Deaf Man Heard�) James Earl Jones, Emmy� Award winner (�Cagney & Lacey�) Georg Stanford Brown (who acts in and directs �The Reading Room�), Emmy� Award nominee Tim Reid (�Frank�s Place�), �Over There� star Keith Robinson, �Band of Brothers� star Douglas Spain, �Six Feet Under� star Joanna Cassidy and �Roots� star Lynne Moody. The film also stars Kathryne Dora Brown (�Judging Amy�), daughter of the director and famed dramatic actress Tyne Daly.

In �The Reading Room,� Mr. Jones plays William Campbell, a recent widower seeking to honor his wife�s dying request that he open a reading room in the inner city neighborhood of the couple�s youth. In the months that follow, Campbell is a victim of break-ins, stick-ups, and just plain bad-blood. William realizes that through it all, even the biggest detractors of his initial efforts, have � over time � begun to stick with him through thick and thin. That�s when William realizes Helen�s true dying wish for him is what he would need most when she is gone � purpose, connection, and the love of family!

�The Reading Room� is a Hallmark Entertainment presentation. Robert Halmi, Jr. and Larry Levinson are executive producers. Peter A. Marshall is co-executive producer.
