LAMBORGHINI DRIVES WHIRLWIND EPISODE OF NBC'S "THE APPRENTICE" FEATURING TWO OF THE SEASON'S MOST DRAMATIC PERSONAL MOMENTS (SEPTEMBER 29, 9-10 PM ET/PT)
Winning Team Plays Hockey with the New York Islanders
NEW YORK - September 28, 2005 - Dramatic and personal moments centering on two candidates spark NBC's "The Apprentice" (September 29, 9-10 pm ET/PT) featuring luxury car giant Lamborghini and a cool reward with the New York Islanders. Randal is flown to his grandmother's funeral in Donald Trump's personal helicopter and receives tremendous emotional support from everyone in the competition. Another candidate suffers a serious accident that becomes a physical challenge on future tasks.
Candidates work alongside advertising agency The Kaplan Thaler Group, Ltd. to create a 30-second commercial and print ad campaign for Lamborghini. Each team has access to two cars, camera crews, photographers and state-of-the-art editing facilities. Executives at Lamborghini and Kaplan Thaler will select the most original campaign and report their verdict to Donald Trump.
During the task, one candidate is shunned by their team, a project manager disappears, a photo shoot on the streets of Manhattan goes drastically awry, and, in the boardroom, a popular candidate makes a risky decision to bring just one colleague back for the ultimate firing.
Donald Trump sends the winning team to chill with The New York Islanders at Nassau Coliseum to learn about teamwork.
