�AFHV� 16th Season Premiere Is Sunday, October 2 on the ABC Television Network

�America�s Funniest Home Videos� fans, pack your bags! �AFHV� will begin its 16th season on the ABC Television Network with the biggest vacation Grand Prize giveaway in the show�s history, giving contestants and viewers at home a chance to win a membership in Disney Vacation Club, the unique Disney vacation program that offers families a way to save money and enjoy memorable vacations year after year. The amazing prize will allow winners to choose magical getaways at any of the Disney Resorts, as well as 500 other premiere vacation destinations around the world each year -- for the next 48 years.

Three times a year, �America�s Funniest Home Videos� awards $100,000 cash prizes for the best video submission. For each of the shows awarding $100,000 prizes to video contestants, viewers at home will be asked to vote for the winner via abc.com. One lucky viewer will randomly be selected in each of the three shows to win a vacation prize for their family. This season�s vacation trips will be a Disney Cruise Line 7-Night Caribbean Cruise Vacation for four, a 7-Day, 6-Night Vacation to Walt Disney World � Resort for four, and a Disney Cruise Line 7-Night Land and Sea Vacation for four.

When �AFHV� has its season finale in 2006, the three $100,000 prize winners will return to the show to compete for the Grand Prize: A Disney Vacation Club Membership. The prize will include purchase price, annual dues and exchange fees. A family can enjoy 48 years of vacations at any of the Disney Vacation Club resorts, as well as 500 other destinations around the world through the Member Getaways program and special member benefits such as discounts on select Disney theme park passes, dining, shopping and more. Voting will again take place via abc.com, and again one lucky viewer at home will win the identical dream prize.

In its 16 seasons to date, �America�s Funniest Home Videos� has given away over $7 million in prize money and evaluated more than half a million videotapes from home viewers.
