RYAN DEVLIN ("ET on MTV") TO HOST THE LIVE FINALE OF "R U THE GIRL WITH T-BOZ & CHILLI," AT A SPECIAL TIME, TUESDAY, SEPT. 20 AT 9:00PM ON UPN
Ryan Devlin ("ET on MTV") will host the live finale of R U THE GIRL WITH T-BOZ & CHILLI from the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles, at a special time, Tuesday, Sept. 20 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on UPN. The live finale will feature T-Boz & Chilli as they put the last two girls through their toughest challenge yet to determine their final choice and then pick the girl who will join them on stage that night to perform their new single "I Bet," as well as record the single with them in the studio. Before the winner is announced, T-Boz & Chilli will entertain their fans with a special live performance of TLC hits.
Ryan Devlin can be seen as the host of MTV's entertainment news show, "ET on MTV" and most recently joined the cast of "Living with Fran," in a recurring role. A native of Michigan, Devlin graduated with a business degree from Michigan State University. Soon after arriving in Los Angeles, he landed a job hosting the late night variety show "MDN" on Spike TV. Soon thereafter, he landed his first acting job, the role of 'Mocha Joey' on the series "Grounded for Life."
Three years after losing their bandmate Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes in a tragic car accident, T-Boz & Chilli of TLC are ready for a new beginning for themselves and their fans. Blending comedy and reality, these singing sensations set out on a journey filled with emotion, comedy, surprises and special guests to look for that one lucky and talented girl who just might be the perfect fit. For nine weeks, the girls work closely with the diverse group of aspiring female performers to find the one with the right chemistry who can join them on their next great escapade, which will culminate in a concert performance during a live finale to air on UPN.
R U THE GIRL WITH T-BOZ & CHILLI is produced by The Jay and Tony Show, in association with Fox Television Studios. The executive producers are Jay Blumenfield & Anthony Marsh, Chilli & Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins. Bill Diggins and Laurie Girion ("Last Comic Standing") are co-executive producers. Emmy Award-winning Jeff Margolis will direct the live event and Adam Freeman ("TRL", "On-Air with Ryan Seacrest") is co-executive producer of this finale episode.
