More than 21 million people tuned in to all or part of the series premiere of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE Wednesday on FOX. The show ranked No. 1 in its time period in all key measures, including Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34 and Teens. FOX delivered this summer's highest-rated night of entertainment programming on ANY network among Adults 18-49. It also marked FOX's highest-rated telecast this summer among Adults 18-49.
FOX will keep this dance craze going with an expanded, 90-minute episode of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE Wednesday, July 27 (8:00-9:30 PM ET/PT)! Tune in next week as the auditions go to Los Angeles, the entertainment capital of the world. The second episode will feature more talented hopefuls and more unforgettable characters who line up to show the producers they have what it takes to be the next dance sensation.
After episode 2 of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, FOX stays in a dancing mood with a special encore presentation of MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE. In the "Ida's Dance" episode, Lois and her mother perform in their own dance competition, with hilarious results.
