"BIG BROTHER 6" LOVE AFFAIR TORN APART WHEN MICHAEL DONNELLAN GETS THE BOOT

Michael Donnellan Is The Second Houseguest Evicted From The "Big Brother 6" House

After a dramatic weekend in which anger and gossip dominated the house, Michael Donnellan, who was nominated for eviction by Eric Littmann, the second Head of Household, was evicted last night from the BIG BROTHER 6 house.

By a vote of 9-1, Michael received every vote from his fellow houseguests except from his secret partner, Kaysar Ridha.

Last weekend, Michael and Eric got into a heated argument with Eric accusing Michael of sexual harassment and threatening his family, which led to a group warning for misconduct in the house. On Tuesday, James Rhine won the Power of Veto, but felt it was in the best interest of the houseguests to leave the nominations as they stood with Michael and Janelle Pierzina on the chopping block.

All the while, what started out as strategy, turned into a budding romance for the two veto-less nominees. Feeling exiled from the rest of the houseguests, Michael and Janelle spent most of their time together in the gold bedroom. Janelle's secret partner, Ashlea Evans, was evicted last week.

During last night's live broadcast, the artist from Orange County, Calif. learned his fate, said his good-byes and left the house. After leaving BIG BROTHER 6, Michael was interviewed by Julie Chen about his experience, as well as on "The Early Show" on Friday morning.

After the eviction, the houseguests competed in a competition called Majority Rules to see who would become the next Head of Household. Kaysar Ridha, the 24-year-old graphic designer from Irvine, Calif. won the coveted position.

Each Thursday, the houseguests compete to become Head of Household. The perks of the position include having a luxurious private bathroom and bedroom stocked with favorite foods and a plasma screen spy cam to monitor other houseguests' activities, but it also includes the responsibility of having to nominate two fellow housemates for eviction. However, one of the nominees can be saved from the chopping block if they or another housemate wins the Power of Veto competition and chooses to save one of the nominees while giving themselves immunity from nomination. If they choose to use the veto, the Head of Household must immediately choose another nominee.

As part of the twist that will play out during the summer broadcasts, each of the original 14 houseguests who entered the house believes that they are the only one playing the game with a secret partner.

For more information about the aftermath of Michael's eviction from BIG BROTHER 6, log on to www.cbs.com and watch him live on "Housecalls: The Big Brother Talk Show" with Marcellas and Gretchen on Friday (1:00 PM ET/10:00 AM PT).

BIG BROTHER 6 is broadcast each week on Tuesdays (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT), Thursdays (8:00-9:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) and Saturdays (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT). The Thursday broadcast, hosted by Julie Chen, features the live eviction of one of the houseguests.
