TNTS Hit Summer Limited Series INTO THE WEST Slated for October DVD Release

Six-Week Television Event Watched by More than 75 Million Viewers To Date

Proving itself to be one of the biggest television hits of the summer, TNTs epic six-week television event INTO THE WEST has been watched by more than 75 million viewers to date and has consistently ranked in ad-supported cables Top 20 among viewers and key adult demos since its June 10 premiere. It has also repeatedly outdelivered broadcast programming in head-to-head competition. Fans of the series will get the chance to collect all 12 hours when the INTO THE WEST DVD hits stores on Tuesday, Oct. 4.

We are immensely proud that more than 75 million viewers have watched INTO THE WEST, the most ambitious production TNT has ever undertaken and one of televisions biggest success stories of the summer, said Michael Wright, senior vice president of original programming for TNT. As our telecast of this very special story comes to a close, we are also thrilled that viewers will have an opportunity to own it for themselves with the DVD release in October.

TNTs INTO THE WEST tells the story of the opening of the American West, a dramatic, personal tale of the adventurous exploration of the American wilderness, the clash of two cultures, the rush to riches in a new land and the building of a new civilization.
