NEW YORK, June 22 -- Showtime Networks' THE L WORD(R), which
is currently in production on its third season, brings the multi-talented,
Tony Award(R)-winning actor Alan Cumming (Cabaret, Showtime's Reefer Madness)

WORD(R) are scheduled to premiere in 2006 which currently stars Jennifer
Beals, Erin Daniels, Leisha Hailey, Laurel Holloman, Mia Kirshner, Katherine

fame in the underground club drag scene. The quintessential party boy, Billie

includes acting, but writing and directing for film and television. His
unforgettable portrayal of the "Emcee" in the Broadway musical Cabaret was one

Theater World and New York Press Awards. For the original London production,
he received an Olivier Award nomination. His many feature film credits include
