SHOWTIME CASTS SHARON STONE IN GUEST-STARRING ROLE FOR "HUFF"
June 15, 2005 -- Sharon Stone, an Oscar�-nominee, Golden Globe� and Emmy� Award winner, and one of Hollywood�s hottest actresses will guest star in at least two episodes of the critically-acclaimed SHOWTIME series "HUFF."
Stone will portray a high-powered Los Angeles public relations executive who retains HUFF's (Hank Azaria) best friend and attorney Russell (Oliver Platt) after an audit reveals she has grossly over-billed her government clients. The cheated clients all hold political stances that she detests.
HUFF, which will begin production shortly on its second season and will return in 2006, stars multiple Emmy�-Award winning actor and recent Tony Award nominee for "Spamalot" Hank Azaria. Azaria plays psychiatrist Dr. Craig "Huff" Huffstodt, whose so-called normal world can sometimes be as bizarre and surreal as that of his patients. The series also stars Paget Brewster, Anton Yelchin and Andy Comeau along with Blythe Danner and Oliver Platt. The one-hour dramatic series is produced for SHOWTIME by Sony Pictures Television.
